36 Yo with 4 Kids - Finally Getting my Mommy Makeover! Breast Aug, TT W/ Lipo - Madison, WI

UPDATED FROM kedge

It's been a week!

$11,800
Post op day 7 today and I realized I haven't done much updating. The first few days were definitely the hardest. Because my PS uses the transaxillary incision for implants, the entire sides of my boobs were very sore. The red spot I questioned last week was just bruising, as it's almost gone and my PS didn't think it was anything else.

My post-op checkup was Tuesday (post-op day 5) and I was finally cleared to shower. Which I did almost immediately when we got home. I still have to wear the chest strap, although not as tight as it has been. He removed the gauze and cotton padding under my binder and the stitches in my belly button and armpit incisions. I got to see my belly button and tummy finally!! Whooo! I am super pleased with the incision - it's crazy low and very straight/clean. I do still have to have my drain, and probably for a while. He won't remove it until the output is only 25ml over a 24 hr period, for 2 days straight. I'm draining 25ml every couple of hours still. Boo. The top of my belly is very bloated and swollen. He said that was where he did the lipo and it will eventually calm down. My boobs are getting softer already and look very natural to me and my husband. I'm super pleased with them. I did try on all of my bras (lovely VS beauties) and not one of them fit. Happy I'm sized bigger now, but also mourning that I have no more pretties. I don't know where our fabric tape measure went, so we did a hillbilly measure with a belt and regular tape measure and that came up as 34G(!)...from a 34 full C, maaaaybe D (according to my PS).

I'm still sleeping in the recliner and icing the girls off and on. The hardest part right now is the limitations from the TT - walking, reaching, bending down, etc. My husband is home with me through all of the PTO time and I'm so glad. He's done all of the kid and house stuff, which has made it easier for sure.

Another thing!

Surgery was Thursday, so today would be post-op day 2 (?). I am not a smelly person, but good grief I smell! I cannot wait to shower, haha. My husband is going to baby wipe-bathe me today and try this dry shampoo I picked up before surgery. I am skeptical about the shampoo since my hair is long and I normally use conditioner. But it's gotta be better than smelling my icky hair, right? Lol

Feeling a bit more human today. Still keeping up on meds and I added extra strength Tylenol to my medicine cocktail (thank you again to my surgery twin). Lots and lots and lots of water. I have some swelling along my sides near my boobs, but I can't tell what's going on under the tummy binder yet.

Binder/TT

I still haven't seen my tummy or TT incision and I'm so anxious to! :) The nurse told my husband that she was surprised at how small I was under the excess skin and once my muscles were back in place, and said that I will be super excited with the results. I am just so excited to have the droopy stretch mark skin to be gone. Soo happy I did this.
