Huge, Costly Mistake - Madison, IN

I am terminating treatment after 6 months. I could tolerate the initial pain and limitations. However now I can barely speak or even swallow liquids. I am at risk of losing employment because speaking is critical to my job. My lips are so swollen that I sound drunk when I talk, and it is exceedingly painful to do so.

This isn't about little Johnny missing a school play one year. I have to be employed to feed my kids.

Don't do it. At least not unless you are independently wealthy and can manage the inability to speak or swallow for a year or more. I just hope I don't end up with tooth loss for terminating treatment early. I did this to avoid tooth loss and it looks like I just managed to make it worse rather than better, but wasted a lot of money and months of discomfort as a bonus.
