$7,400
Hello - I am considering taking the next step in keeping my appearance fresh and healthy as I age. I'm in sales and feel it helps but more so, I enjoy looking and feeling my best. I inquired about getting a Liftstyle Lift. I was directed to the closest office to my home, in NYC. Here's my experience - I was promised a gift certificate said to be worth $100 for a facial just for making the appointment for a free 1 hour consultation. After I arrived, I was asked to fill out a questionnaire which really was an analysis of how best to sell me. Then I said down to talk with a very nice 'specialist' who evaluated me. Although she appeared to have a lot of work done except for Botox, she made a point of saying she never did - which I thought odd since I didn't ask. After 30 minutes of talking about what was wrong with my face from the two 'mug shots' they took in the beginning and why I so needed the procedure, she gave me a price($7400) but said if I got the work done within 30 days they would drop the price down to a 'once in a lifetime price' of $5600. She had to consult with her manager for an even better deal and left the room for a while. It reminded me of a car dealership. By the way, I never saw any doctor from their facility. She did say in the beginning that they never commit to doing any work before the doctor sees the patient and does his own evaluation. All of a sudden, she said that she would give me an even better deal if I did the procedure within the next two days. I left saying I couldn't make any decisions of this nature so quickly. She later followed up with an email confirming the lower price. When I responded that I was interested but not until Sept of this year when I could take the time off to heal properly and privately, and only after meeting with the doctor who would be doing the surgery in advance, the whole offer changed. (By the way, I never got my free certificate for the facial.) A new person from their office told me - and their tone is what really got me - that come Sept the price would be much higher as this was their busy season. When I asked about meeting with the doctor for a consultation/ evaluation - they completely shut down. This is a franchise - maybe they actually do good work but their sales approach seems shady. I've decided to continue to take my time and do the research before I make a decision.
