I’m so excited. I will be heading to taiwan on the 22.03.18 for my MACS surgery.
I’m seeking to lift my cheek area. I want to restore a little more youth to my face! It has kinda sagged and i don’t see the v-line as before. I opt for MACS instead of threading because I would want a lasting effect. I am considering fat grafting too. But due to financial constrain, I could only do 1 surgery at a time.
I am thinking to have fat grafting 1 year after the MACS surgery.
Also, for my alarplasty revision on my left nostril. They are asymmetric and makes me insecure whenever I take a photo.
Any advise would be Glad!
I’ll be updating my journey here

Hi! Im 39 years old and just had a complete Face and neck lift ( incisions behind the ear!) 2 weeks ago, please be careful, i dont see any sagging in the lower part of your face, i only see nasolabial folds, maybe you would do fine with the fatgrafting and later if you re not satisfied you can still do the lift. i am very please with my Outcome by the way... i looked very Young for my age and still i wanted to look younger, everyone said im crazy but now that ive done it im glad... im just worrying about the scars, did your doctor warn you about bad scarring in Young People ? i was told that scars often turn out bad in Young Patiens...good luck!

Hi Merleoberon! congrats on ur successful surgery! it’s so encouraging to hear that. yes I do know that I do not have much sagging. but what I understand is that threading will not last and I really do want to give my mid face a lift and to get the v-line shape back. I wish I could look young for my age like you! but I’ve been commented to look way over my age since my twenties. I think I will need to raise the concern of bad scaring in younger age. thank you for pointing out

Mereleoberon May i ask who you went for a facelift. I'm in my mid 30's but had facial contouring sugery that left me with skin laxity. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Rosegold, I flew to Taiwan to have my facelift with Dr Chuang from Wish Clinic. U can try search for his website. He major in Breast augmentation but many ppl still go for his other surgeries. I did my nose, eyelid, Chin all with him in my younger days too.

2 Weeks Pre-surgery

I am so excited for the surgery. I have stopped my daily supplement such as Fish oil (some say thickening of blood), CoQ10 pills, Silymarin milk thistle ( vit for my liver), evening primrose. I only continue my Multi-vits (2pills) daily.

Dr Chuang also suggested that I stop using sonic-wave massager (1 of my daily facial routine) 3 days prior to surgery.
But he did not comment on the High-frequency home treatment (4mins) that I do daily. I will stop the use of Retinol cream 1 week prior to the surgery to prevent any skin irritation which might halt the recovery of the wound.
