I went with 600CC Silicone Gel Implants under the muscle. They felt more "real" to me and even more now that theyre in! Anethesia was not bad at all, We went over everything again the morning of the procedure. Keep in mind the shape of your breasts will just be enlarged...this isnt magic. I expected magic because i hated my breasts before...but the general shape and nipple placement is still the same. Although it looks much much much better now that they are enlarged. Very happy with them now. If you're like me and this is something you have contemplated for a very long time, just do it!! It is so worth it in the end.

You look great! Thanks for sharing.

How long have you had ur implants? What size were you before? They look very pretty, congratulation!
January 30, 2014
One week today. Do you think they have dropped too fast for one week compared to yours? I was a small 34C before the replacement and that was with the 270cc salines. I'm gonna go today to get sized at Victoria Secrets. Excited to see what size I am now. When. Lay down they roll toward my armpits. Does yours?

Oh I was like a- lol. So I'm pretty tight and they haven't moved much in 11days, just less swelling. You prob have more skin stretched already so urs are settling faster I guess. My dr said no bras for 3 mo. I'm living in tank tops and hoodies lol. I guess he wants them to settle naturally ? Idk. But I trus him. Ur new bras not going to hurt ur sutures?
February 1, 2014
Talked with nurse today no bras for 3 months except sports bras... Yes she said u had to let the sutures heal. By the way I measured a 34DD they end looked much bigger in the underwire bra. I'm not buying anything for 3 months the size may change not sure... The nurse said they are pretty much the size they are gonna be. The swelling is basically all gone. I'll put up some pics from today...

Thank ya'll! I had surgery on Nov. 27th. before...I was flat. I wore an A, 34A but probably was a AA. I had nothing. Thats why the 600cc implants dont look as large on me as most people that start with more breast tissue. YES! Mine roll into my armpits to...lol. I shoeed my Dr. and he said that mine are normal, but I hate when I lay down and theres basically nothing there again...ugh. I was sized at VS as a 34DDD BUT...I do not truly think, i KNOW I am not that big. Im probably a D in regular bras. Which stinks...I will probably go bigger in the near future...but this was as big as I could safely go the first time. Good luck with everything!!!

Wow that's big! I can't wait to see what size I an.

Congratulations! Yes, you give a very realistic expectation for women. Breast augmentation is not magic and will not necessarily give you picture perfect results. (Although I'd have to say you look pretty perfect to me!) A lot will depend upon your body frame and original breast placement. Sometimes the slightest pre-op asymmetry will even become enhanced during a BA, much to a woman's disappointment.

If you go bigger in the future, you may want to look into what is often referred to as an internal bra. It's basically internal sutures that keep the breasts from falling into your armpits. It's becoming more common with revisions these days.

Be sure to post your pre-op and post-op bra size info in an "update" to your review, aside from the comments section below. ;) Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf!

How long did it take for them to start settling and looking big? I’m in the same boat I’m 3 weeks post op and I feel like they are still small and I got 600cc

Update:

I wasnt sure how long of a post I could initially write so I tried to keep it short and simple. Before BA I wore a 34A, but honestly without a padded bra I was probably a AA...I wouldnt know because I have worn padded bras since Ive had boobs I think! Which is another thing I would like to add, If you are used to wearing a padded bra and have BA, you may not be as happy with the results in clothing because youre already used to a fake image from the bra- just try to remember (I have to remind myself) Now its YOUR boobs and not a bra! I was fitted at VS right after christmas (I had surgery on Nov 27th) and fitted as a 34DDD. I dont feel that big. especially compared to all my naturally endowed friends...but after spending the $$ Its nice to hear that! Ha. I think realistically I am probably a 34D... in non VS bras. Maybe a 34DD... I Will keep adding as I can think of things or get questions! Thanks for reading guys! :)

I think you look amazing!!!! I've been going on consultations and recently was told of Dr Powell! I wish I had known about him a few months ago :) I've been going to Atlanta but Macon is so much closer and if the surgeon is good then this is a better alternative for me! Now, I know I will need a breast lift as well so that is a difference from your experience but I also will need a large implant to achieve any kind of decent size. Did he use the Keller Funnel for placement? Does he use the strap? When were you advised to start massaging? What was your day of surgery experience like...and then recovery?

Thanks for the great update and photo. You might have to share a post-op photo in the pre-op bikini top. That will certainly show a difference. ;) Just curious, have you told your friends and family about your procedure? Hope everyone is happy for you!
February 6, 2014
I have given all of them away, the husband wouldnt be happy if I "Squeezed" into the old tops now! Ha... I just wanted to find a picture of how I started out. Oh yes, they all know. I am not ashamed at all of them or the process. I have planned this for 7 years! I actually had surgery scheduled for 7 years ago and found out I was pregnant and had to cancel. So everyone has known this was coming. :)

I don't blame your husband! ;)

Glad you're not ashamed of your procedure. It's nice to have the support from friends and family. I have heard so many women in your situation where they have the surgery scheduled and then get pregnant. You should add that part of your story to your review as it will be inspirational for many women to see that you eventually did get your dream boobs!

Thanks for sharing your story! It really helps those of us yet to be on the other side. :) How do you like your 600cc now? I am also scheduled for 600 soon and worried they might be too big, health risks, or fall into my armpits!! I was originally sched for 533 but somehow after the pre-op, I ended up at 600!! I hope I'm making the right decision... I am now a 34-nothing! So basically I'm starting out with flat pancakes and I was assuming the dr was literall building my boobs from ground up! 600 sounds big but hard to tell when it's under muscle and body factors come into play. What do you think?
July 20, 2014
That would depend on your size and frame, 600cc will look different on everyone. I am 5'3 and 137lb so for me it is not to large at all. 600cc fits my body type perfectly. Mine only go "into my armpits" when I lay flat on my back, which I hate but it is still worth it by a long shot! Ive had a very nice recovery and healing path but everyone is different, theres no way to tell what the health risk are because they do differ per person but I can tell you it was worth the gamble to me! I hope I helped! :)
