*The review is for a non surgical chin augmentation, which is not in the drop down menu* I came based on the glowing Yelp reviews, but my experience was very disappointing. To provide some context, my appointment was late in the day, and I felt rushed by everyone, including the doctor. Before the appointment, I had a asked a series of questions concerning what the doctor would be able to show me about how the chin would look after the procedure. I was informed that the doctor does not digitally alter photos of the patient but could show me actual before and afters from other patients, many of which are already online. When I asked the doctor how he figured out what would look best/how to improve the chin, Dr. Mabrie stated that because of his extensive experience and top-notch training he just knew where best to make the injections by eyeballing it. He then drew three shapes on a napkin: (a) very square, (b) very pointed, and (c) somewhere in between. He stated that these are the standardized options for everyone and to just choose one. I asked to doctor to proceed with the shape he thought would look best, and although I had initially noted that I wanted to focus on projection (as opposed to length), the doctor did not further discuss this with me at all. The doctor did ask whether I wanted one or two syringes, and I stated that I just wanted to do one first and then evaluate to see whether a second would look any better. The doctor then proceeded to inject the first syringe. After finishing, however, he informed me that the result was asymmetrical and that I would have to buy a second syringe to balance for a symmetrical result. So to recap, after all the talk about his experience and training to assure me that he could just eyeball it and know where best to make injections, and after I explicitly told him I only wanted one syringe first before evaluating whether I wanted a second one, Dr. Mabrie injected the first syringe unevenly and told me that I would have to purchase a second syringe in order to even it out. Needless to say, this did not go over well, and I declined anymore services at the office. A couple weeks after the procedure now, the asymmetry is still obvious, in both shape and projection. Moreover, there was zero follow up from Dr. Mabrie's office after the procedure. From my experience, Dr. Mabrie's sole concern is profit, and I do not recommend.
