Before I had my 2nd ba procedure I met with over 1/2 dozen highly respected and well known plastic surgeons. After my 1st meeting with Dr. Lyos I knew without a doubt I had found the right surgeon for me. My first ba procedure with silicone implants were done in 08 and they became hard after 3 years and 3 years later they ruptured. I only found out through a mammogram that the silicone had leaked all over and went back to the original surgeon to have them removed. The post op from the removal was very painful due to the sloppiness of the drain placement. The ensuing scars were deep and crooked and were well below my inframammary fold. Two years after removal I hated how my breasts looked and decided to have my 2nd ba procedure but with saline implants. All of the other surgeons tried to convince me to go with silicone and one even told me that the placement of saline implants would make my scars more noticeable. Before my first meeting with Dr. Lyos I was able to send pictures of my breasts to determine whether I would be a good candidate for what I wanted and interfaced with Loan, who was so pleasant, patient and responsive. In my first meeting with Dr. Lyos, he patiently listened and addressed all of my concerns and thoroughly explained to me all of my options including pros and cons of each option. The entire staff from the receptionist to the nurses are all very professional and caring. My post - op care and office visits have been great and I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Dr. Lyos' skill and knowledge. Right before my procedure I asked the nurses at the surgery center (these nurses do not work for Dr. Lyos) how long my operation would take and they both answered "it's hard to say because he's such a perfectionist". This in itself speaks volumes about his work. It has been almost 4 weeks since my procedure and I am very happy with my results. I don't know how he did it but the ugly scars are no longer visible. If you are looking for a surgeon with big personality and pomp then Dr. Lyos is not for you. If you are looking for a surgeon who is thoughtful, smart and can give you excellent results then look no further.
