Hi

Hi everyone! I'm still numb under my neck. I feel a strain when I look up like a tightness. I can feel lumps in my neck, so I massage my neck every night. I stopped wearing my garment. It's all crincled up and leaves creases in my neck skin. I can't believe it has only been 2 weeks and some days after my surgery! It seems like it hs been forever... As I have so much more healing to happen!

Swelling/loose skin

So It has been 9 days since the surgery. The swelling is easing up. I took off the garment today.. Surprised that it has gone down a lot. I was upset because I have loose skin. It's no so loose that it hangs, but when I feel under my chin it feels loose and baggy. Which made me more self conscious. It is tightening up, as other PS has told me that it could take months for the skin to retighten. At this point, I just have to wait and see as it has only been 2 weeks and 2 days since the procedure. I will talk to my PS on March 30th & address my concerns.

Garment

My PS told me to wear my garment for 4 days 24/7 (the day after surgery) then at night for two weeks. I follow other peoples lipo journey & they wore theirs for 10 days 24/7 then two weeks at night. I'm going to keep wearing mine to get the best results possible. Yes I go out in public with it hehe. It doesnt seem to bother me in public. Although it is very annoying to wear to bed. I woke up several times, and my lips have been swollen because the garment pushes my cheeks and my lips together. I also have sleep apnea, so I wear a nose mask & I guess all of that pushes on my lips and makes them swollen when I wake up in the morning!
