Popping Motrin
Tomorrow is my 3 week mark. Today was my 1st day back in the office. Even though I took 4 days off of work (including the surgery day) I've been working from home and not having to drive in.
I have a 1.5 hour commute each way plus 1/4 mile walk into the building. Plus I had meetings that were all over and I did a ton of walking!!!
I usually carry my laptop in my backpack but there's no way I could've hauled anything over my shoulders and onto my back!! Thankfully I had a rolling travel suitcase from my training days that I was able to use! Worked like a charm! I just wish it would've carried me!
So was def sore and got a little winded from all of the walking! Stayed on top of my Motrin today. On the ride home my right side was burning and the front of my incision felt raw! I turned on my heated seats to cope with that!!
Came home and immediately took off my work clothes and put on my yoga pants!!I had no problems fitting into my work slacks or blouse!! Pants were actually loose with my compression garment, tank top and my shirt tucked in! Unbelievable!! My shirt was a little snug across my breasts but very loose at the bottom where it was tucked into my slacks! I can't believe how everything is fitting better and I'm still dealing with the swelling!!
So I'm pretty swollen right now and everything is throbbing! Dropped of kids at their things, cooked dinner and now I'm parked on the couch! I need to rest up for tomorrow! Pretty funny that it's Groundhog Day because like the movie I have a feeling it will be the same repeat of today's activities and events!!!

Blood Blisters r Annoying
Today is 19 days post op! hard to believe the journey it's been these past two weeks. I finally jumped on the scale this morning - down 9lbs! Wow! I can't wait to find out how much skin and fat were taken out of my problem areas!!
My TT incision, and drain holes are healing great. I wake up with a burning sensation around the incisions and the lipo spots are still numb to the touch on my flanks. After I get up and move around I'm able to stand almost fully upright!!! I can not wait to stand up completely straight, being hunched over is killing my lower back!
Now that the TT pain is manageable I'm starting to pay more attention to my boobs! They are sensitive!!! Forgot all about the sensitivity before I fastened my seatbelt and was dying before I reached the stop sign at the end of our street. Had to push the belt behind me!
I have these 2 annoying blood blisters on my boobs from the surgical tape. At my last visit the assistant checked them out and said that they were healing and looked fine. How long do they take to go away? I'm hoping when I get the rest of the surgical tape removed I don't get anymore of these evil looking blisters! I also asked if it was normal to have these flat round grandma boobs at this stage and she said yes. Everything looks normal they're still dropping. Again I need to be patient - they just look like flat torpedos!! I'm so glad I got the lift because if I didn't - with this extra weight they would be pointing south!!!
I've attached recent pictures! The PS did a really great job of the lower back lipo - I hope that it eventually evens out so you can't see the mid back fat so pronounced! Augh! I'm being patient. But now I kinda wish I would've asked about back lipo! I was just concerned about the front!!!

11 Days Post Op Swelling is Bearable
I hope the worst part of the swelling is behind me. I'm still pretty swollen but at least the pain is controllable with Motrin!
Today was a good day! I worked all day without having to take a nap, cooked dinner and did a couple loads of laundry! Momentous!!! My poor kids ate everything I made! I think they're tired of eating takeout!
Just wanted to share some pics of my TT scar. It's pretty extensive and goes well past my hips to my back. I knew I had a lot of extra skin but wow! It's healing very nicely so I'm hoping for minimal scarring.
I had to take off the dressings from the drain holes. My left hole is healing fast and scabbing over. My right is taking a little longer. Hopefully that will close up this week. I threw bandaids over them and put back on my surgical girdle. Only a couple more days in this thing! Hallelujah!
The girls are still riding high but take on a different shape each day. I'm excited to see the changes everyday. Can't wait to see them in a couple of weeks!!
