I am a bit late in posting on my lip lift. I religiously peruse Realself before any cosmetic sx, so I owe it a review. Very happy with my lip lift 7/31/15. No pain. Scar is what one would expect. Had a breast lift with, so price is both with a local. Doctor was fabulous. Will post more when I can. Oh. Pertinent info with regards to fulcrum length: 1.6 cm. Down to 1.0/1.1 cm.

Closing in on 2 Months after Lip Lift

Since I am getting close to the 2 month mark, I am posting more pictures. In terms of recovery, the numbness in the septum area is still present, but minimal. I have some asymmetry, same as it existed before my surgery. I have never taken issue with any asymmetry- I have loads of it. The pictures close up are in natural light (yike) and show my scar. No makeup on the scar. I have pimples, however ;^} Very pleased so far.

Great result!!! Very natural. Was wondering why you decided to go with Dr Rodriguez and did you consult with any other doctors? Did you have to travel ?

I consulted 2 doctors. I was impressed with Dr. R lip lift info and did research from that point. I went full circle, and decided to go with Dr. R. I had to travel from Midwest. It took the doctor very little time to perform the lip lift. He knew exactly what he needed to do, and in my opinion, quite skilled at this procedure.

Thank You!...how long did you stay in Baltimore before you were able to return home and did you do your consults over the phone?

I arrived Thursday, day before surgery on Friday. I left for home Saturday morning after checking in with the doctor. In terms of consult, I had a quick phone consult, which was adequate for me. I knew precisely what I wanted done, and did not have too many questions. The doctor is quite nice, and he is a good surgeon. I definitely would recommend him for lip lift and breast lift. I intend to use him again in the future. His office is near Towson, which is super cute, and I used Uber to get around before/after surgery. Best, M.

Hi. I love-love your results. Scar looks amazing and unlike some other photos of lip lifts I have seen, the base of your nose doesn't look swollen and your nostrils look natural. I'm very interested in whether the cut from your lip lift went around your nostrils or if it was strictly under the nose? Thanks!

The stitching is around base of nose - side to side. The stitching went up each nostril approx. 2 mm. Thrilled with lip lift.
