Hi all....I got soooo much great intel from RealSelf while researching this procedure that I decided to give my own review. I breastfed my younger 2 children and decided to finally address the aftermath. ???? I had a crescent lift with 400cc silicone high profile implants, under the muscle. 5 hrs post op, I'm feeling pretty good. Painwise I'm just really feeling extreme pressure around my ribs. I took 2 Percocet 5.5 hrs ago for the long bumpy ride home through traffic. I also have a pain pump for the next few days. At this point I would say well worth the extra $250!
I'm not really hungry...snacked on a couple crackers just to keep the meds from messing up my stomach. Drank a couple of Gatorade and some mango juice but strangely no need to pee yet.
I've dozed off a few times...at this point just staying up for my last round of meds at 10pm.
I'm wrapped up from collar bone to below my sternum so can't even see cleavage yet. ???? I go back to the PS probably Saturday to remove drains and pain pump. So guess I have to wait till then.

Omg. We are totally pre op breast twins! Lol. Your post look great! I'm still not sure how big I want to go, my surgeon suggested 400cc by I'm worried that they will be too big. How are you handling that size? Especially since they haven't dropped yet?

Haha! Exactly my thoughts when I read your post!
So far I feel like they are actually going to be the perfect size. Before kids I fluctuated between 32D/DD and that's about where I wanted to end back up. I liked the way I filled out my clothes at that size, but still didn't look top heavy, if that makes sense. I also didn't want to worry that I'd end up too small either...size regret stories on here break my heart! They are starting to drop ever so slightly...I'll post pics again soon...and so far so good.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I want to be a 32dd but not too big. Hopefully we will be post op twins too! I just had my surgery this morning and so far so good!

Yay!!! Congratulations, and welcome to the club!!! :-)
I'll check out your page for updates. Hopefully the good feelings of today continue all through your recovery...maybe I psyched myself out but it really hasn't been as bad as I was preparing for! Though I think being fit beforehand helps some too.

I don’t see any scars going up your breast from the lift. Are your scar very visible? I am very concerned with scaring after I get mine done. They do look great!!

Forgot to add in my first post that I'm 5' 1 and 125lbs, in case that's helpful.
Not feeling bad at all. Tightness in my chest seems to be loosening a bit. I have weird (burning pinch?) sensations sometimes at the insertion point for the drains and pain pump, but nothing unbearable. Seems to go away if I tuck my arms down. For anyone wavering on paying an extra $250 for it, STOP! I can't imagine what this would be like without it...shudder...
Still not very hungry, but forced down some yogurt, fruit and an English muffin. Keeping up with the water and Gatorade. There's a weird tightness in my throat when I eat, but I think it might be from the anesthesia. And a tinge of heartburn.
I also feel better when walking around...using my legs. My back gets tight from sitting and reclining. One trick that's working for me when getting up is to tighten my core and use my abdomen and legs...that way I'm able to keep my arms down more often.

Had my drains and the pain pump removed today. VERY weird sensation when the tubes were pulled out but no real pain...maybe because I still had lidocaine from the pump and had taken a Percocet not long before.
Will post a pic later but size is pretty much what I wanted, as far as I can tell! And just as would be my luck, the right is riding higher than the left and looks bigger. Which is funny since the left was my bigger one originally!
