Day 4-5 Post-Op

Day 4- I woke up sore. My back and boobs were very sore so I took a Motrin 800mg and I was fine. All the arm movement required when taking a shower does exhaust my body. After I take a shower and dress, sit in an elevated position with back support for about 15 mins. This helps me feel better, NO meds. I went to lunch with a good girlfriend and ate a yummy salad and had TWO cocktails to drink. It felt and tasted sooooo good! I still have help at home with taking care if my toddler son and I am still unable to open bottles, access high objects and turn around and reach for things. However, I must say, I am healing pretty darn well.
Day 5 Post-Op
I was a little sore waking up however I did not need any Motrin. It went away on its own. I dressed my son up for school, made his breakfast , gave him a hug and a kiss and escorted him out the door.
Today I had a 5-day post op with Dr. Rodriguez . I absolutely LOVE his office. His staff is so personable and the decor is immaculate. I was 45 mins late , which is inexcusable. No love lost , the staff still greeted me with a smile and I was seen within 10 minutes of my arrival. Dr. R asked me was I comfortable with height of my cleavage and I told him yes. However, the left side dropped faster than the right side. So I am going to wear a band over the right side until it evens out. No biggie... My breast look GREAT! The concerns I had, I see as time passes it really is not a big deal. I have up give my breast time to heal. I cannot expect picture perfect breast in less than a week. Lol I was told to lose the surgical bra and begin wearing a sports bra or regular bra with NO underwire. I am excited!! I hate the surgical bra! It's so high, it like snaps all the way up to my chin. The only clothes that can hide it are turtlenecks and t-shirts! Lol
After my appointment we stopped at the casino , made done bets and lost some cash. After we ate at Bobby Flay's burger joint ( which has absolutely NO back support chairs). Then we went to the mall...oh gosh... We walked around Arundel Mills and did a serious number on my back! I did not take any pain meds when I came home , I just elevated my back with a lot of pillows and rested for about 30 mins. I fixed " dinner" for my son- pizza and baby carrots. After someone gave him a bath, I lotioned him up and got him ready for bed. I stayed in the bed with elevated pillows for the remainder of the evening. Oh and after taking Dulcolax for two days the constipation and gas I was experiencing is gone!! Thank you Jesus!
