Have wanted to do this for several years. Have 3 sons, 29, 25, 19. Youngest one recently moved out so now I'm taking care of myself. I'm nervous as surgery will be in 2 days. I'm concentrating on the out come so as not to freak out on the actual surgery. Will post pictures in the near future.

Congrats and good for you! I just turned 52, and started my "mommy makeover" last fall with a Breast reduction and followed with my tumy tuck with muscle repair 8 months ago. SOOO happy I did it. First week to 10 days post op of the tummy tuck was the roughest, but then it just got better and better. It's a TOTAL restart and completely uplifting. HUGS and best wishes for a safe surgery and speedy recovery. Post when your done so we know how things went. You'll do great. :-DSuzy

I know so many people think that by the time we are in our 50's, we should just be happy with what we have. Things are finally settling down in my life, so why not enjoy! I'm so happy that your results turned out so good! I've waited this long to get this done, so waiting a few more months to see the final results will honestly drive me crazy, but will be well worth the wait!

Hope you're through and on the flat side! Post an update on the procedure and some pics, when you can manage it. Happy healing.

Two days post op and so far so good! I had lost a lot of weight and I think mostly from my back end! Ended up getting one of those pillows to sit on and that really helped! I'm sore today but not really hurting. I had a breast augmentation and full tummy tuck.

3 days post op. Woke up a little sore, my back I'm guessing from taking a shower yesterday. My left breast kind of sore. I got my breast done because one was so much bigger than the other. The "bigger" one is scorer probably because they took some tissue out in order to try to put in implants closer to the same size for both sides. My mind is a lot more clearer today. I hope to post pictures tomorrow.

6 days post-op. Got my drain tube taken out. I was concerned when they wanted me to step on the scale. I'm not used to being down so long. I had been working out 1+ hours daily. Scale showed 2 pounds up, but was told it was Probably just water weight. That sounded good to me! My breast get sharp pains, but not too bad and not too often. Mostly they feel like when I stopped nursing and they got really full and tight. Stitches under my breast are starting to itch a little. Tummy still numb so no itching yet. My backend is still pretty sore. According to nurse it's actually a little bruised. But was told I can now sleep on my side so that should help. Walking is getting a little easier, still a little hunched over and will be probably close to another week. Back really hurts if I try to stand too long or walk too

One week today

It has been exactly one week today that I had my surgery done. It took approximately 7 hours as I had a breast lift with implants done and a full tummy tuck. It is true that time heals all wounds. My back still hurts from the bending over. My tailbone hurts from sitting down so much and my breast are sore. Feel like a muscle soreness. I finally slept in my own bed last night as opposed to the recliner in the living room. Started off being a little uncomfortable, but was tired from my trip to the doctor so soon fell asleep. I live in a small town, so the surgery was performed in a town approximately a two hour drive away. I'm feeling a lot better but will take advantage of my husband taking care of me. He will be going back to work on Tuesday, so I will be on my own beginning that day. I haven't taken any photos of myself since the surgery, but will and will get them posted so the change can be seen. I'm past the "what was I thinking" phase of recovery to "it wasn't so bad" phase. Even if I end up with scars, which I'm sure I will, it will be a lot better than
having all that loose skin. And my breast being the same size will sure make it a lot easier to buy a
bra!

Tomorrow will be two weeks

Sorry about the picture...I had just gotten out of the shower and that is the only time I'm not all bound up! My breast are a little sore, but not bad. If I do too much in a day then the next day my breast seem to be a little more sore. My tummy tuck is finally loosening a little to the point that I am not so hunched over. Go back to the doctor next Tuesday when I am sure they will take all the tape off. So far so good!
