My partner of eight years is the one that encouraged my initial visit with Dr. Rowley in Lubbock, Texas. He is a huge advocate of taking care of your skin and being proactive about surgeries to keep you looking good. After his visit with Dr. Rowley getting Botox and Juviderm I asked him what he thought I might need to make me look somewhat younger since I was extremely impressed with his results. He recommended that I should get filler for the deep folds extending from my nose to my lower mouth and I should look into having my eyelids done.
I wasn't apprehensive at all for my initial visit. When I met Dr. Rowley for the first time I found her to have a refreshing take on cosmetics. I am significantly older than my partner and prefer to do things in moderation, not so aggressive and "fake" looking. Dr. Rowley was already twenty steps ahead of me, expressing what she would recommend, and also what she felt would look too unnatural being an older man. She explained that she could do an upper bleph in her office with just numbing the area and not having to be fully sedated. This made perfect sense, as I don't like being put under anesthesia unless necessary. The surgery went exceptionally well with no real downtime and only about about 5-7 days of swelling.
On my first visit she also placed Radiesse in my labial folds and administered Botox in my forehead, crows feet, and nose. I really like the fact that I do not have to schedule a second appointment for injectables and can usually just walk in when I want them.
