I have always had droopy eyelids and I was tired...

WORTH IT
I have always had droopy eyelids and I was tired of being asked if I was sick, or if I was tired, or if I was feeling ok. After tensile research, I knew I wanted eyelid surgery as soon as I was able. Although swollen and blue and purple, I could not be happier with the outcome of the eyelid surgery, but also with Dr. Minns and the entire staff at Lubbock Plastic Surgery!

You have a very pretty natural face. How lucky to only need an upper lift! I am sure you will be delighted with your results.

Do you mind me asking what Dr. Minns charged? I have always used Dr. Rowley but have seen some fantastic results recently from Dr. Minns Jolie

Loving my eyelids! It's hard to believe just 4 days ago, my eyelids were so droopy that it was difficult to see at times! I have a lot of swelling, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

I think your eyes look great, the bruising and swelling doesn't look bad for the 4th day post-op. A question for you, did your surgeon have you apply ice post op or no ice post op? I am scheduled for an upper blepharoplasty May 10 and I hope I look as good on day 4 as you.

Hi Traveler115, thank you for your kind words and yes I have been applying ice, as often as I can. For the first few days it was almost around the clock, but I have tapered off and don't ice as much. I can't wait to see the final results! Good luck with you upcoming blepharoplasry!!!!

Your day four pic looks great, especially for day 4. Are the red marks above the eyelid contour line just bruising or was this area cut? It's look like just residual bruising around the incision area, which would be expected in the surgical area. I am eagerly awaiting the day when I can get this done. I'm still in the pre-consultation phase due to work, but I've found 2 doctors I would like to see.

Your 4 month post-op pic looks great. I notice you have eyeshadow on. Is that because you can still see a lot of redness, or is it just that you happened to be wearing eyeshadow? I know I will be pink and swollen for a period of time, but I am going to follow every piece of advice on healing that I can so by month 4, I feel comfortable with or without eyeshadow.

One week ago today I had just had my surgery, today I'm ready for the stitches to be out and the bruises to go away. Tomorrow I have my 1 week follow-up and I'm hoping for a great outcome!
