I left the consultation feeling confident and my surgery results are natural and beautiful . Minimum bruising and Odin.. it couldn’t have gone any better . She is truly the face doctor . Your results are really, really good. I am an black female who wishes to have the same surgery but I am concerned about scarring. Where are your incisions and are they healing well and in a place where they’re won’t be noticed?

Sorry just saw this. No issue with scarring thank goodness .. I was so afraid of keloids but my doctor uses some medicine to minimize that risk in her black patients . I am one year out now and I have noticed a neck band that wasn’t there before . Will need to address that as it’s irritating the heck out of me . .

Lower face and neck lift update - what happened

1 year post surgery - I am confused on this one band in my neck that has appeared over the year. Not totally happy now . I never had neck bands before and didn’t have any afterwards until almost 8 months later . Now it feels like my skin is being pulled on the right side when I tilt my head up. And this long line now appears. Spoke to doctor who performed surgery , who is super nice, but she says Morpheus would address it ? Others in her office thought it looked fine? Have another plastic surgeons office I visit for Botox and they say it’s a neck band and needs to be addressed as post surgery . They tried to Botox it but still looks the same- sigh . Hoping my doctor can make it right it cost a pretty penny to get this done as my neck appearance bothered me a lot.
