My right eye is showing retraction or ectropion after 3 weeks

Hello,

Three weeks after my lower blepharoplasty, my right eye is showing retraction or ectropion. My doctor says this is normal and that it will go away. However, I've seen many videos from reliable sources that suggest it usually takes around two weeks to recover.

I'm scared that my doctor might have removed too much skin and is not admitting it.

Can someone shed some light on this? I'm very worried, and my doctor keeps telling me that I just need to wait.
