I have so many mixed emotions right now. I can't believe I am finally going to do this. I am 36. I have 4 children 16, 13, 9, 8. I had 1 c-section, which left me with an uneven scar. I just had a complete hysterectomy last year, so I will not be having any more kiddos. I try very hard to keep myself at a good weight with diet and exercise. I am 5'6 and weigh 140. Like most other women, I still can't get rid of the mommy pouch. I will be having a full TT with muscle repair and lipo on my flanks. My breast have also started to head south a bit. I developed at a very young age and have always had issues with having bigger boobs. Breastfeeding, although it's the best and I don't regret it, took it's toll on my breast along with age. I am currently a 36dd. They look fine in a bra, but out of it, they look like teabags, lol. My PS, said I have a good amount to work with, so I am having a lift done with no implants. My biggest fear is being put under and not waking up. I always worry about that, even with past surgeries. I just want the day to come already, so I can start the road to recovery. :-)

I am really starting to feel super nervous. I think I have gone into nesting mode, lol. I have cleaned places in my house that didn't even need cleaning, just to keep my mind distracted. I have read many reviews here and I think I am the most nervous about the breast lift. I will not be getting implants, just a lift. I hope I have good results. I will not have a pain pump with the TT/MR/Flank lipo. My PS said he is injecting pain meds into muscles, so I hope that works great. I feel like I am forgetting something for recovery, but I have gone over my list several times. I am sure that is just me being anxious. My husband took a week off to help me with recovery. I am very grateful to have such a supportive and understanding husband. I have cut my sodium intake in half and made meals for recovery. Mostly proteins, greek yogurt parfaits, no gassy greens. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I am so glad that I can use RealSelf as a go to for info and read others experiences.

I did the same thing. Nested like a baby was coming, lol. I'm five days post op today. I had tt, with muscle and two hernias repaired. No lipo. I can tell you that the biggest things that have helped me and I don't know what I would do without are my toilet seat riser and shower seat. I have not had alot of pain, and I'm still not sure how I would get clean without my husband and the shower seat. I've been up and going to the bathroom on my own since the day of surgery, but the toilet seat is a tremendous help. I spent the night in the hospital, but the toilets there seem to be a little higher already. The other thing I did not know or read much about is how hard it is to pee after. Plan to shift around a bit and wait for it all to come, lol. I also kept vicks nearby to keep myself from coughing. I had alot of congestion after and I never coughed if I stayed on top of smelling the vicks ;). Good luck!!

Thank you so much for sharing your ideas. I picked up a toliet riser today and I have vicks on hand, so I will try that.

Wishing you luck! IM still debating my leaning toward going for me TT/breast lift. I have so many conflicting feelings and I'm having a hard time making a decision.

Will you be doing implants with the lift. After reading so many stories, I am now wondering if I made the right choice to go without.

I had a breast lift done with my tummy tuck and it didn't hurt at all. My breast were very large like yours. Having the lift was the best decision.

I am counting it own and still very nervous. I have decided that maybe a recliner would be a great idea. Any Suggestions?

I think some of the gals had to spend a lot of time in a recliner post-op. However, they are not inexpensive so I would ask your doc. God Bless...

Consider checking Craigslist for an inexpensive recliner option. I've read where many ladies went that route, along with cleaning and/or covering it. Enjoy your transformation!

I'm using my gravity chair and it's working great!! I would recommend it. You can look on my page to see what I'm talking about. It reclines perfectly and only takes a little push with your toes to get it to recline back. It's lower to the ground, so it's easier for me to stand up on my own too. I doubled a comforter over it to lay on, so it's comfy too. Just a suggestion, but it's working great for me. And I have 2 great recliners in my house, but chose to try the gravity chair.

another option would be to borrow from friends, neighbors, family etc..
