I have always had a double chin and always hated it. I finally decided to do something about it. I went for two consultations- one Dr really pushed for Kybella- which I was not interested in so I went with the other. Procedure was done under local in the office. It was pretty easy - the worst part was the numbing shots and they weren't that bad. The actual procedure only took about 30 minutes but I was in the office for about 1.5 hours.
As instructed I left the compression strap on (tight) for 24 hours. After 24 hours I was told I could slightly loosen it. I took a sneak peak and was thrilled. Today is the 4th day and it gets better and better. The chin strap (which I will wear for 7 days) is by far the worst part - oh and having to sleep elevated on back. It is nice to take it off to shower to get little sneak peaks and know that it is all with it.

Reading back through the review it isn't clear what procedure I had-- I went ahead with chin lipo. I am 5 days out and have a little bruising and not much swelling. The absolute worst part has been the chin strap. My Dr wants me to keep it on 24/7 for a week-- I am counting down these last two days by the hour

Hi, I actually have a consult with Dr. Shutte next month! Are you happy with your results so far? I had one round of kybella in January but want to see if I'm a good candidate for lipo.

I am happy with the results. Right now it's kinda hard and lumpy- buy they said it is totally normal and part of healing. Hope your consult goes great. The other Dr I consulted with was really pushing Kybella but I just wasn't interested in having to do multiple treatments

10 days- little discouraged

So it's been 10 days and I wanted to do an update. I'm a tiny bit discouraged as it looks like it's coming back. It's getting hard and kinda lumpy- which they've assured me is normal. It still looks better than the before picture- just not as good as immediately after - hoping this is temporary as they say it is.
