LOVE the Results of my Left Eye Ptosis Surgery

I had been dealing with a mild case of left eye ptosis, which left my eyes looking asymmetrical. Initially, I consulted with a well-known aesthetician to try correcting the asymmetry with eyelid fillers, hoping for a non-surgical solution. Unfortunately, my eyelid started looking droopier after a couple of months time and it also made my left eyelid feel heavy to lift, making me tired often. After thorough research, I consulted with two surgeons, with Dr Ahmad Aziz initially and then subsequently with Dr. Sabrina Shah-Desai. I was drawn to Dr Sabrina Shah-Desai not only because of her outstanding reputation and decades of specialist surgical experience but also because she has the advanced equipment necessary to trace and dissolve the fillers, ensuring my eyelids were properly prepared for left eye ptosis surgery. Knowing that the risk of bleeding would be minimized once the fillers were dissolved gave me immense peace of mind. After Dr. Shah-Desai dissolved the fillers, she assessed my face and eyes and recommended a Mullerectomy with a 5% chance of over-or under correction which could be treated with subsequent surgery or massaging. She’s also mentioned some eye drops that will soon come on the market which can open up my eye without surgery but I didn’t want to be dependent on those and decided to risk it with surgery. The procedure itself went super fast, I was in an out of the hospital within a couple of hours and the procedure itself didn’t take more than 10 minutes. Dr Sabrina was able to identify, communicate and repair the stretched out muscle that was causing my ptosis shortly after she opened up my eyelid from the inside. The results totally exceeded my expectations—I’m thrilled with the outcome (see attached before and after photos). The post-op advice she has provided was incredibly effective; I experienced no bruising and minimal swelling by the next morning, and I had no pain at all. I have no scars from the procedure. Dr Sabrina has seen me post-op after a week and she’s scheduled to re-assess the progress again in 3 months. I am in very safe hands and privileged to have met her, she’s super cool, fun to deal with, highly skilled and professional. I paid privately for it all, the consultations, procedure and filler dissolutions, it’s pricey, but totally worth every penny and saving up for. I have regained all my confidence since, I look younger and I’m getting special treatments and positive attention from strangers since I’ve had this small but life-changing procedure done (no joke!). I can’t thank her enough and will definitely be returning to her for future facial procedures.
