A few dry patches and pinkness
WORTH IT
Well after two days of pretty uncomfortable itching and tenderness my face is actually starting to look and feel better. I still have a couple of patchy dry spots and my new skin is pink but I stand by my original title of thinking it’s worth it so far! Full disclosure- I plan on doing another treatment in three weeks. I have some more corrective issues I want to deal with. After that I will probably scale back to once every 6 months

Sandpaper face
Day three has brought the Sahara to my face. Despite using my TNS serum and Sente Dermal Repair my skin is extremely tight, rough and dry. I do have IT cc cream which works beautifully to cover though so not too concerned, but I am choosing to stay in as much as possible to truly allow my skin to breathe and heal. Small pimple on my chin has come to a head.

Do I Love LaseMD? I Think So...
This is the second time I have done the LaseMD and really like it. Unfortunately with all the COVID closures going on I had to wait longer between procedures than I wanted, but hopefully I’ll be able to get more of a routine going now.
I am in very early 40’s but because of ovarian cancer I was forced to have a total hysterectomy and pushed into medical menopause at 38. Since then I do feel my skin has aged faster AND I have some scarring on my cheeks from cystic acne during my pregnancy 15 years ago that I hate and have worked on softening/eliminating for years.
I have done chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro needling with PRP, non-ablative lasers and ablative lasers, but have never felt truly satisfied with my results.
With the LaseMD I actually feel hopeful. I’m sure I will have to add micro needling with RF and potentially stem cells down the line, but for now I’m happy with this.

You look great! I just had an aggressive Lase MD, last Wednesday and I am worried I won't be healed by Monday, when I have friends coming in to town. My aesthetician told me 2days downtime and I am still burned. I am just hoping I don't scar.
All the best

First, thank you. Second, even if yours isn’t totally healed you should be able to wear mineral makeup. Just DON’T pick or scrub and you should be fine. Just remember, the more aggressive the treatment, the longer it takes for the skin to heal. Give it a little time, I bet you’ll look beautiful

Did you have an aggressive treatment with the LaseMD? Can you tell me what the pain level was?

I did have an aggressive treatment. I’m at day four and still experiencing a lot of dryness and tenderness. As far as the pain level, I have a high pain tolerance so it’s difficult to say. During the treatment it was uncomfortable, but tolerable. It was really the following days that were hard. Extreme heat, super tender, dry and raw.

Thank you so much! I am interested in this but nervous about the pain! You look great. I will keep watching to see your final thought on this!

If you have a low pain tolerance I’d start lighter or even opt for micro needling with prp. The LaseMD is a more aggressive treatment, however, and you will see results/improvements a little faster. Best of luck on your journey. xx

Lasers didn’t hurt at all. I have not done MN yet, everything gets numbed before hand
