Drain is gone!
PO8: I went to the doctors office today. I did not see the doctor, just his nurse. She removed my drain, thank goodness! She said that everything looked good. Said my tummy was swollen a lot and it would take a while to go down. She also said that my breats were still a little swollen on top and that they would soften up some more and go down a little more. I cannot express how much better I move without the stupid drain no know the drain was needed but it is amazing to get to move around without that tag-along. My husband took me to kohls afterwards and I felt okay walking around. That is the first time I have been out besides visiting family.
I got my first look of me full length today and standing straight (well almost straight). I am amazed! I am anxiously waiting for the swelling to go down. I know I need to post pictures. My husbands last day of work for the year is today. We both are school teachers. Looking forward to having home with me and the babies. Hopefully, he can help me with pictures this evening and I will post before and current pics in the next day or two.

Getting rid of the drain tomorrow
First, I want to say that my support group is amazing! My mother and husband have rotated taking care of me and staying with me. My in-laws have kept my babies so my husband could focus on me. They have brought them over and posted pictures daily on Facebook for me to stay connected in their daily activities.
PO day 1 traveled home four hours. Travel was good but hated hitting bumps. I was thankful for the pillow I brought to hug while traveling.
PO2. I got to shower and wash my hair. My husband was so helpful and I have discovered how much I love the binder! Without it I was afraid to move too much.
PO3. Took the pain pump out. Wasn't bad, my husband thought he was going to hurt me so I had to remove it. Thought it was never going to end. ????But it did not hurt at all.
On PO day 4 I went to my in-laws for dinner and visit with the babies. It wore me out but felt good to get out of the house.
PO5: started to feel better and slack off the pain meds. My drain is not producing as much and has me worried that it is clogged. We have stripped the tubing multiple times. The first time I stripped the tube it seemed like it had collapsed. But slowly throughout the day it started to regain shape. I hate the drain!
PO6. My husband went back to work and my mother came to stay with me during the day. My daughter (2 yrs old) was home with us as well. My mother took me to her house and her sisters house to get out. It felt good getting out of the house and visiting family. Once my husband got home we went to my in-laws for dinner. Doctor's office called today to check on me. My drain only produced 16 mL over 24 hrs so they are willing to take it out. Thank goodness!
PO7: drain produced 16 mL again so I called the doc office to make an appointment for Wednesday to remove the drain. Once my husband gets home from work we are leaving for Louisville. Glad to be getting rid of the drain.
