Im 31 year old mom of six married to a military man. Having six kids is an amazing thing I love having a big family but it has taken a toll on my body. Before getting pregnant for my first child I weighed 115lbs. First two children I was able to get my body to bounce back but after my 6th child I was at 198lbs. With the stress of raising the kids the military life husband deploying I stopped taking care of myself. About a year ago I was having health problems. High blood pressure I had to get a hysterectomy cause of the stree of having six kids did to my body. I think after that I realized that I had to take care of me. Happy wife and mommy makes a happy family. Lol. So I have lost a total of 50lbs and still losing weight. But no matter what I do I can't get rid of the extra skin that is just hanging there. My husband says he doesn't care about it he loves me and says I'm beautiful. It bothers me though and I won't allow him to see me naked. I have appointment with Dr Jarrod Little on October 28 2014. I'm so excited. Im ready to get my body back

You go girl!!! My husband used to say the same thing to me "I love you just the way you are"" (fine but I'm still having my tummy fix) I told him...after surgery I Noticed he constantly stared at me and would tell me over and over " wow!! What a difference!" He said that seeing me every day he didn't realized how big it was ;). He would often look at the before and after pics. Intimacy DID changed alot for the better of course, specially because I had more self confidence. I wanted to dress better (of course everything fits better too)..Now I have a clingy husband that even those more around the house, offers often to but me dresses and puts little gift on my night stand. So go for it!! 6 kids (your earned it fare and square!) ;D good luck

Thank you I have been wanting this for 2 years now. I'm so scared though of what can happen I'm not good with pain.

Ask if he uses exparel. Exparel is a local anesthetic which will help you be comfortable after surgery with very minimal pain. Some doctors charge Xtra and some doctors is included in the price. My doc used it on me and as long as you set your alarm clock that way you don't miss a pain pill you should be fine. I was petrified until I met my anesthesiologist he was very professional. I even had nightmares days before my surgery. Now I want a breastlift with no implants lol

I don't allow my husband to see me naked either. I also am a military wife, mom of four, and have a lot of excess skin. I know what you're going through, except I haven't lost the weight yet. Good luck!!!

So I have decided to share some photos at first I was alittle embarrassed but my body has carried 6 beautiful babies and I am proud of the weight I did lose.
