2 week update

Just a few quick things. Even though the healing process is long for legs and ankles, I feel that 2 weeks was when things got much easier. Also, having good compression garments is HUGE! I started off with just regular knee high socks and my swelling was terrible! My pain was way worse too. After only a couple of days using professional compression socks, the swelling and pain was MUCH better! I wear there things religiously because they help so much. I've included my 2 week updated pics. My husband says he sees big changes but I don't yet. I'm actually writing this update at almost 3 weeks so it's still early. :)

One week post op

Not much change. My legs are still bigger than prior to the surgery. By then end of the day they are huge and feel really hard. The bruising is really bad. I can't wait to see things move in the right direction.

A few days post op

I've realized that my legs hurt the worst first thing in the morning. Once they get "warmed up" they're fine. Even if I sit for a long period of time with them propped up, they get achy again. Besides that, it just feels like one massive bruise. It's sensitive to the touch but I forget about it frequently. It looks much worse than it feels.
