It is now almost 7 weeks post opp. Most painful thing I have ever done in my life. Cicumfrential Lipo on thighs as well as abs and knee's. Doctor took out maximum amount he could take. I am still numb in spots and swollen in areas.. I am still not sure if this was worth the pain or cost. Dr. Mays and staff were wonderful but I had hoped to be at better results by now. If I was ever to do anything like this or cosmetic again I WILL go back to Dr. Mays at Caloaethetics Plastic Surgery Center.

Stephjones30: I definitely think you look trimmer. I have never had liposuction; however, I know the swelling can take 3 or more months to subside. Your body has had a tremendous assault internally. I am sorry you have had so much pain and I hope you get the results you want. Be well!

Thanks! I hope I get them as well for the cost paid and pain endured. Unfortunately I have that dimpling in my skin (cellulite I guess is what you call it). Lipo does not help that part at all.

I do see improvement and the swelling. I am 3weeks post smart Lipo on my upper abs and waist. Agree it’s painful and the sensitive skin is driving me nuts. I am having my 2nd part this week with excess skin removal on my lower abs.

Hello Elliesue60. Just reading through comments trying to get as much info as possible about liposuction. You said you go back for 2nd part of smart lipo?? I’m confused? Is it done in multiple visits? Or are you getting multiple parts of your body done? And skin removal on lower abs? Wouldn’t that be considered a tummy tuck? How’s our results? Did you post your journey & pics on here? I’d love to read it if so.

Hi titi4. Yes my journey and photos are on here click my name to see my story. I had smart .ipo with trisculpt-ex my second procedure was lower Lipo and removing the excess skin. I need to post some updated photos I just started working out again. It’s not a tummy tuck because it was just the skin. Let me know if you have any more questions.
