Really excited to get a 'chin'. All the reviews and stories on here have helped me so much I thought I would try to share my adventure as well. 53 days until my surgery so patiently waiting.
I'm just getting an implant, no liposuction. The ps recommended lipo but then said wasn't necessary when I complained of cost. I googled lipo under the neck for hours, some people need it, I feel I do not.
My chin isn't as bad as some others but I definitely want that more defined look. My mom thinks I'm nuts, haven't told my dad, my bff is all for it, & a few of my cousins think I'm nuts too but supported my desision. I had my ears pinned back 10 years ago and that was great and I think a bit more painful so this should hopefully be nothing, (I have an incredibly high tolerance to pain). Posting some pics of me now.

Soooo exciting! Do you know what size implant you are getting? Here's a list of pre- and post-op chin implant tips for you. Please keep us updated as you get nearer your big day!

Good for you, im also debating getting one. I'm just wondering how long would you have to take off for work and would you tell the people at work? Maybe you would get lucky and no one would notice if it was a subtle change which is what I want. How big of implant are you getting?

Good luck with your surgery! Please let me know how it goes as I am considering one also. I live in Louisville and have only heard good things about Dr Calobrace.

Be sure to keep us updated! If you don't mind me asking, where are you getting it done and how much will it cost? I'm really wanting a chin implant, as well, but I got a quote of $3,500 from my doctor and I just can't afford it :(.

I meant implant will be put on my tiny chin through an insicion under my chin. Not intra orally.

The submental incision seems to be the preferred method. Do you know if the implant has wings?

That is wonderful. I've seen a few ladies that had that done. They look amazing and I'm sure you do to. Good luck.
