WORTH IT$17,000

I had a lower body lift in December 2014 and had my back/upper abdomen, arms, breasts and scar revision done on 4/13/15.

Dr. Calobrace and his staff are nothing short of amazing. I feel great and 24 hours later I'm loving the results and I know it will only get better from here!!! I'm so incredibly happy that I have had this work done. I never truly felt like I lost the weight with all of the excess skin.

Plan is to have my thighs done in the Fall/Winter.

I'm happy for you. Only wish I had the money to do all of it Since insurance doesn't pay .

Insurance doesn't cover mine either...and it's not cheap. But it is SO worth it!

How are you doing? I just first surgery (arms/breasts) on March 30th. Next year doing lower work and still deciding on combos or separates. Looking forward to seeing how you are feeling. Happy healing!

I'm feeling great! No really pain, but definitely more dependent on my husband this time vs. Zthenlower body lift. Planning on doing my thighs in the Fall/Winter.

Thank you for sharing your journey endingyoyo! Will be following your updates. Huge difference in your arms! They look great so far! :0) I'm scheduled for combo BL/BA with Arm Lift in July. My biggest worry, beyond size of boobs I'll get, is how the arms will turn out. Looks like the incision you have is what my PS will do (posterior). He doesn't like to do the incisions on the inside of the arms. I guess because the cut in the back has fewer complications during healing. How is the incision on your back feeling? Looks like it hurts something fierce.

Thanks! I was extremely worried about the size of the implants (I was fearful they would be too big) but so far I'm really happy. No real pain, just sore. My back isn't really bothering me at all...

Having just undergone a FL, NL, eyes and browlift I am looking at my "bat wings" under my arms. They are right up there with jowls. I will follow you on this because I would love to know how the healing process continues.

Absolutely! LMK if you have any questions!!

Hey you look great.

Thanks!!! I'm ready for the swelling to go down and to get out of the compression garments!

One week out....

endingyoyo
It's been 1 week and 1 day since my surgery and I have to say that the recovery is nothing like I had expected. Everyone kept saying that this recovery would be SO much easier than my lower body lift. Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible, just not what I expected.

Recovery for my lower body lift was MUCH easier than I expected. I was able to manage the pain with meds and my range of motion wasn't too bad. I was moving slower than normal, but was fairly independent. I had surgery on 12/2 and hosted 6 guests from mid-December through Christmas. All was manageable.

For this surgery, there is very little pain, however my range of motion has been limited and I feel much more dependent on others. Now, one week and one day out, I'm starting to feel much better though. I was extremely swollen from the elbows to fingertips and the ace bandages on my arms have been almost unbearable. I think the more swollen I was, the more annoying they were. I explain it similar to wearing pants that are too tight and digging into you. You know the feeling when you finally unbutton them and there are painful marks left in your belly. That's the feeling along my upper arm. It's not pain from the surgery, it's the bandages. Could be worse, right? Nothing else is bothering me - at all. The first few days my breasts were sore - like I went to the gym and really worked out bothering me. Not bad, right?

You're a strong woman! Hosting guests a couple weeks after your lower body lift? Wow is all I can say! :) Sorry the swelling in your arms has been rough. Never liked ace bandages for the reasons you explained. Another reviewer I follow has been using Adidas compression sleeves from a sports store, instead of the ace bandages. They don't bunch or dig into the arm, and they go down to the wrist thus help with the forearm swelling too. Maybe something like that could be of help to you? All in all it sounds like you are healing up fast. No pain. No torn/opening incisions. No infections. Not bad at all!! :0)
