Progression Pics

I feel like I can see a difference in my before and now pictures. I am on the last day of tray 7, I've been in treatment for exactly 2 months and I have 40 trays to go lol. What do you think?

Elastics?

So, I am currently on tray 7 and things are just moving right along. I don't have any real noticeable changes but I can feel things have definitely moved. Of course no one else would notice this but I HAVE A TINY LITTLE SPACE BETWEEN MY 2 FRONT TEETH!!!! Yes, that's right! My front teeth have always been so overlapped that there was no space between them at all. I love this little tiny space so much. I look at it everyday as it reminds me that I'm not doing this all in vain and it is slowly but surely moving my teeth!

My first check up went well. I was giving my next 5 trays which will bring me up to tray 10. He also gave me the ok to start changing trays every 7 days instead of 10. My acceledent is still working. I pray that this little machine lasts until the end of my treatment and doesn't crap out on me. I would be heart broken!! My next check up is May 5. I will be on the last day of tray 10. I think I may be starting rubber bands that day. He told me at the beginning of treatment that I would start rubberbands somewhere around tray 12. I am really curious what that is going to be like. Any one else have any tips or experiences they would like to share? What does the bottom part of the rubber band hook too? What about the top? Are they uncomfortable or make your jaw sore? When you remove and reinsert your trays and rubber bands do you use new ones each time or reuse the old ones? I am actually a little excited to start them. To me that just means we are getting farther along in the process and I love that. Also, no one has ever noticed my invisalign. Or at least if they have they haven't said anything. I feel like after I get my rubber bands they will be a little more noticeable depending on the placement of the rubber bands. In some weird way I wish someone would notice them. I am so proud to be wearing invisalign finally! I kinda want people to know that I'm doing something great for myself and I think it would be really cool if someone asked me questions about them. I love to tell people about things I have tried and have worked great. So far I love my invisalign!

Tray 1 day 1

These pics are from day one but I'm on day 3 now. So far so good! Only mild discomfort and my tongue is sore. My trays are already easier to remove. I got them off in less than 30 seconds today and it had been taking me over 5 minutes! Still a slight lisp but I can deal with that.
