Implants REMOVED

So happy I had them removed
When implants are misplaced the results are horrible. Please make sure your surgeon works with you and places them correctly. I didn't want a different looking mouth, I wanted fuller lips. I will keep my before lips any day over this botched job.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. Your real lips look better than how she had placed them.

Thank you so much! I completely agree.

I get filler in my lips about once a year. The Dr. suggested lip implants since it would be less expensive on me in the long run. After reading reviews I think I'll stick with fillers. Sorry you went through this and thank you for sharing your review. I'm thankful for this site that we can read reviews from real people.

I totally agree with you. Especially if you like your results, implants are tricky if they are not done correctly, and clearly sometimes changes the shape of your mouth, which can be unflattering. I just wish I had the $2000 back to go use on filler... LOL Stick with filler!

I'm torn over my lips....there are moments that I like them and then other moments I"m like wtf?..I used to have the heart shaped lips and now my lower lip is just stretched out and huge. I add filler to the top lip to balance the implants out, but still I can't get over how different my lips look from how they looked before. Not to mention my upper lip now looks lop sided when I smile, and the implant on my right side bends a smidge. I currently have my post as "Worth It" because I'm not completely disappointed...but I have recently pondered on taking them out.

How do you lips look without them now? Did they go back to their natural look? Is the skin stretched out? Do you plan to get filler in the future or other implants?

Also....how much did it cost to have them removed for you?

I am SO happy they are out, I'll take my thin heart shaped lips any day over that stretched out crap I had before.
I may try filler in the future, but I am not disappointed at all for removing them.
Felt so good to have them out. Best feeling.
And no they are not stretched out at all. Back to my natural heart shape.
My doctor did not charge me to remove them because she knows they were ugly & improperly done from the beginning... I was never happy with them.
She made all kinds of promises she couldn't fulfill, am glad to never go back there again.
I wish you the best of luck, these things are expensive and scary, you always wanna do the right thing.
Keep me posted on your journey/decision.

Oh boy. I am so so sorry. I better do better research. You know what? You still have a beautiful smile! Thank God they were able to remove them. Maybe fillers are the best way to go next time. A lot more conservative and you have more control over the injections. Like I said before. You're a beautiful girl and a beautiful smile!

Horrible Horrible Horrible

Most unprofessional person I've ever met. Better like your results no matter what they look like, cause she's not willing to fix her mistakes.
Would NEVER recommend her to ANYONE.
Makes promises she can't keep.
Rude and inconsiderate.
Clearly not someone you want as a surgeon.

Implants were too wide for my mouth, only made my mouth look wide and stretched out, so unnatural and ugly. Could not wait to take them out.

You have the exact lips I have before and after my lip implants. It has been about 40 days post op and even my mom thinks that my mouth looks wide and awkward. But I went through hell recovering it. My husband and my kids hate it too.
Hang in there, we might like the end result months months later?

i hope you much luck, my family hated mine too. said it never looked good.
Sometimes when they are misplaced after the swelling is gone, they look worse.
I suggest you just keep in contact with your doctor letting them know you do not like the way they look. So hopefully your doctor is more professional and will help and work with you to make you happy. That is what you deserve.
I flushed $2000 down the toilet and she didnt care as long as she had my money.
I dont want to see this happen to you.

I already had them removed and cannot be happier, everyone commented asking if I got braces or was wearing a retainer it looked so awkward.... They were not pretty at all. I cannot tell you how much happier I am with them out. They did not look like other people that had theirs done, mine looked stretched and as if they were coming out the sides on the bottom. When they are misplaced no matter how much time passes that look is not going to change. I hope you much luck and hope yours do not look like mine!

hey there . I recently had the same procedure by this doctor and literally your story is exactly the same as mine. You wouldn’t believe the horse story I went through on the day of my procedure but my question to you is did she charge you to have them taken out because I’m only two weeks out and something just tells me I’m going to want these out but everybody keeps telling me to wait. Also my best friend had her lips done by her and they look absolutely amazing so I had all the faith in the world in this doctor because of my friends results but I just seem to be completely having different experience

Kinda nervous....

It's been over a month now that I had the implants done, I feel since the swelling has gone down, that my mouth looks wider and more stretched/straight across than it used to.
I used to have a nice Cupid's bow and shape to my lips, and now I feel like the implant is too long or placed incorrectly... I just wanted "MY" lips, but fuller, I didn't want the shape of my mouth to change... I'm upset and trying my best to wait it out, my doc says it takes 2-3 months to see final results. Just not sure I will make it that long, I'm constantly getting asked what I've done to my mouth, or if I've got braces cause I talk a bit funny.
I'm trying so hard not to stress out, my luck Just doesn't seem to being going right, I have a bad feeling this is the final shape of my mouth, which I will have them removed if so. I just wanted so bad to have pretty lips. :(
Maybe a miracle will happen... Guess we'll see. Keeping my fingers crossed, God I hope the doc is right.

I'm getting kind of nervous too about mine!! They feel like they were placed in differently on the right & left side on my bottom lip. I hope it's swelling and it takes a few months.. Because one side of my lip goes down more. But I saw my doctor and he reassured me :( I hope I'm just paranoid

Yes sara210 I totally understand, Let's just both keep our fingers crossed and trust them for now. I will keep you in my thoughts as well, cause I know how it feels, your constantly reminded cause you can feel them so much inside, when talking, smiling, eating, etc, etc... Just about everything.. It's hard to forget about them. How long ago did you have yours done?
January 12, 2016
I was following your thread and when you stopped posting I was hoping nothing went wrong! Likewise.. It's scary. I wonder if it were to be removed how the process would be.. It really is and now I'm so afraid to talk. I just hope no nerves were damaged because it's still a bit numb.. Almost 3 weeks ago. I know I'm expecting a speedy recovery but it's very strange to me how it's healed so far

Horrible horrible experience.... They were clearly placed/done wrong... And the "Doctor" was the most unprofessional "surgeon" I've ever met or heard of in my life. Would NEVER go back to her. If you are in any way not happy with her work, she done with you and ready to get rid of you. Once she has your money, your done, and if you're unhappy she doesn't care. Not the kind of surgeon I'd recommend anyone for ANY procedure.
