I had always wanted to get a tummy tuck, but wasn't sure I would be able to (time to recover, cost, etc.). In early summer I was fortunate enough to have both the time and the money and by August it was scheduled. One of my sister in-laws (who is 40, but looks 22--without looking fake or obvious) had a procedure by Dr. Lepore several years ago and highly recommended him. I checked with a few other cosmetic surgeons in the area, but felt most comfortable with Dr. Lepore's office in the end.

The surgery was difficult to recover from initially. My husband took excellent care of me and we were both surprised how completely dependent upon him I was the first week or so. Week 2 was still rough, but much better and now in early week 5--I am feeling and doing a lot better.

I could not be happier with the results! The job he did was beautiful. I love my new body and haven't been this proud of my figure since pre-first pregnancy in 1989. Truly far better than I could have ever imagined! I highly recommend Dr. Lepore and will go back in the future for a couple of smaller procedures before I'm through!

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

Hi, can you post some pictures? When was your surgery? Was it actually in August?
