I found Dr. Lay on my explore page on IG. I normally wouldn't pic a doctor randomly on IG but his pics of his patients results were so good that I had to keep swiping. I also did my research for about 6months, stalking his page and the pages of his clients. I was shocked that someone so skilled was actually local. Dr Lay is pretty famous among the Asian community here and around the world. I was thrilled that I didn't have to fly to have this procedure done. Once I was comfortable with his work, My gf and I made an appt to see him. Very personable. Very funny. He definitely made us feel comfortable and he definitely knows his Asians. I left confident that he would fix my eye issues and I also signed up to get a nose job! Which he actually tried to talk me out of but I wouldn't take no for an answer. My gf and I booked our surgery date right then and there.
Day of surgery: Chase does a little more assessing then they take you into the surgery room. It's local so it's injections around the face which feels so weird cause you are awake the whole time but it is COMPLETELY painless. I just felt a little tug here and there but for the most part felt nothing. Before I knew it, it was done. Everything looked great and I felt good when I left. I went home immediately after and rested. I didn't need any pain killers.

Day One: I actually don't remember lol

What I do remember is being allergic to the antibiotic and the hydrogen peroxide when I cleaned my eyes. Not a good look but I took some steroid pills and the swelling went down.

I went back to work the following Monday (surgery date was a Tuesday). I actually pulled out my own stitches on the corner of my eyes and around my nose because I didn't want people to know what I just had done and surprisingly no one noticed!

I did see the doctor to get my stitches out the next day and all was good.

I'm 6months post op and things are healing nicely. One thing you have to remember is that this is a process. You have to be patient to see the results.

I have seen the doctor on the regular and his entire staff are so nice and so patient with me. I have done a few other procedures that he does really well (lip fillers and Botox). I haven't decided if I will continue with those but if I did, I just wouldn't trust anyone else with my face.
He's the best at what he does. Life changer.

I'm so sorry about your allergic reaction, but I'm glad all went well otherwise! Sounds like a great decision for you. Your eyes look very pretty!

Do you like the lip filler by dr. Lay? I am considering to have him do some lip filler but have not seen much pictures from his patients.

unfortunately, Dr lay's patients are very private hence the lack of pics (including me) but i will tell you that i trust no one else with my face! he does an amazing job with lips. but he also has a new nurse that works with him that does lips/botox as well. hes def the best in the area. hes worth it!
