I am a 49 year old man who is holding up pretty well. Very active, work out, eat right, bla, bla, bla. But my face was starting to slide and sag a bit. Ulthera appeared to be just the all in one solution I could handle. I tried fillers and botox. Having to return every few months for more painful shots was not working for me. (Let me mention that I bruised terribly from restylane) I was a bit nervous about what people here wrote about pain but was impressed with the before/after pictures. The concept of gradual lifting and tightening rather than one big plump or pull appeals to me. I had the procedure done 4 days ago. The pain was so minimal I can't even call it pain. My tattoos were way more painful. The nurse gave me 20 mg of Valium and 10mg of Vicodin and a Motrin before the Ulthera. Getting snapped with a rubber band is way worse than anything I felt. The next morning I went to the gym and worked out as normal. Face washing and shaving were no trouble. I felt and still feel a bit sore on my forehead and under my chin. I'm not expecting to see changes for at least a month. I can already see that the loose skin on my jowls and along my jawline is tighter. There is a return of definition that has been gone for several years. A friend at work commented that I look very rested and awake. I'm detecting that my eyes are lifting a bit. So far the experience is positive and I'm seeing change. I will share before and after pics in the future
