Asymmetrical Swelling

csw9084
WORTH IT$6,799
I knew swelling would change day to day and sometimes make the nose look asymmetrical, but dealing with it is a different story. Tip still swollen, but went down a bit and nostrils a bit asymmetrical. They were before surgery, couldn't adjust without compromising my smile. Hopefully the swelling is making it more obvious but only time will tell. Not gonna lie, pretty anxious about the healing process.

Cast Off and No More Dry Mouth

csw9084
No more dry mouth and uncomfortable cast! I'm not gonna lie, the cast is soooo annoying and having to breath out of your mouth gets old. Fast. It's like having a cold with heavy congestion. I knew this wasn't going to be an easy process but I expected it to be more about pain; definitely more annoying than painful. Anyways...enough complaining.
Saw Dr. Hamilton today to remove my cast, stitches, and other gross things. Honestly, I love my nose! I know it'll only get better with time and the differences are pretty subtle but I love that. The tip still is high, but will come down with swelling. Decided to get the hump removed after all. The nose is one of those that grows over time and I figured if I just got the tip done, ten years from now that hump might be worse. So I decided to just do it. One nostril still slightly bigger than the other BUT Dr. Hamilton and I talked at length about this and he said in order to change that would seriously compromise my entire nose. My smile would be off and would pull too much to the other side. I trust him and he definitely delivered. The plan pre-op was to do an open rhinoplasty, but he ended up doing a closed rhinoplasty. I'm actually really happy he didn't do an open; less stitches and more natural look. The tip is still really sore and sensitive. He also removed my birthmark from my nose.
Lastly, my breathing. He did the septoplasty and turbinate reduction. I have never taken such a deep breath in my life after he removed the packaging from my nose. To be able to breath normally means the world to me!
Outside of that, really happy with everything! Right now, I would seriously recommend Dr. Hamilton and definitely say it was worth it! See you at one month post!

So far so good

csw9084
Saw Dr. Hamilton for a quick check-up and cleaning. Cast and stitches come out Monday. Definitely don't look forward to that. I hear the stitches are painful.

What I can see of my nose looks beautiful. Tip is a bit high, but I know that will come down with swelling. Even with the packing still in my nose, I can feel a difference in my breathing. Excited for Monday!
