Had rhinoplasty 10 years ago, I was looking into Dr. Grigoryants for my revision rhino but after research I find out he is not good in revision. Also Dr. Davis if far even to make appointment, have to wait 1 year.
I`m looking for revision rhinoplasty with this surgeons Dr. Jason Hamilton. /Dr. Jay Calvert./ Dr. Donald Yoo. Has anyone had revision rhinoplasty with one of them or can give me any advice?

I'm an east coast gal and have not had personal experience with any of the doctors mentioned. However, I'd be a little leery with Jason Hamilton. There is another user on here, revrhino18, going through a pretty difficult ordeal after having rhino with Jason Hamilton and his handling of his poor performance isn't saying much regarding his character. You can find the review on his page.
Take your time finding the right doctor and be certain. That's my big advice. Check and double check and we'll triple check the doctors credentials and standings.

im in the same boat has you slimee. I don't know who your primary care physician is, but mine practices with the top hospital in the U.S. so she's a great sounding board, even though she is not a plastic surgeon. Regardless, of who your primary care physician or internist is affiliated with or not they probably are a great source of information. They aren't wholly unfamiliar with plastic surgeons in your area. I'd ask on my next appointment if they can provide some names. I'd also not trust any surgeons word regarding their "talent" and body of work. References and double checking their standings with the board as well as with the state they practice in. If their are any complaints or discrepancies it's right to feel unease. Also, I'd take my time and wait until I feel completely confident in your decision. Often, our anxieties and doubts are our guts way of telling us something isn't right.

Such a good point fzb123, I waited on my decision to get surgery for about a year and a half and it gave me the time to find the right doctor and find the necessary down time. Idk if Chicago Is an option for anyone but I traveled from 5 hrs out of state to go to Dr. Shah and I continue to do it for any checkups or anything I need. After the surgery I stayed in town for a week with my bf and it was smooth sailing from there.

I have had consultations with Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Yoo and I really like both of them. Very friendly and personable. I haven't seen many Yoo results on here but he comes across as very competent and he told me that he likes to get 90% accuracy or higher in his surgeries. I feel confident that he can do that. But again, I don't see any reviews for him here on realself. I have seen people, and even know one person, that have had revisions with Dr. Hamilton and I'm very impressed with his work. Dr. Calvert, I know he has a great reputation, but I just felt he wasn't the right fit for me. He seems big on using fascia which I'm not a fan of. I honestly think that Dr. Yoo and Dr. Hamilton are very good people to start your revision journey with. You could meet both of them and see who you prefer and feel more comfortable with. I will say, beware of Dr. Frankel. He's well known in LA but I had a revision with him and it did not go how I hoped. Very very disappointing. I know of others who also had very disappointing results with him as well. Best of luck!

slimee have you decided what doctor you were going to? im still confused on what doctor to go to

Dr. Hamilton has had amazing results but sometimes he is hit or miss. Dr G does amazing primaries but he is not good with revisions. If you save some money you can go visit Dr. Lucian Ion! He is famous WORLD WIDE! They have named him the King of Rhinoplasty.

I've seen some reviews of Shah that have had bad results as well. He wouldn't be my choice, because of inconsistencies with his surgical outcomes.
February 15, 2017
Oh no I don`t like his work, looks so unnatural and so many bad reviews.

Slime, I have no experience with this doctor, but his name keeps getting rehashed over and over to me by the medical community, Dr. Spencer Cochran in Texas. He's apparently the master of the nose fro what I'm hearing. Please remember I have zero personal experience with him.

Hi, I would like to let you know guys that I was about to have my revision with Dr. Hamilton on 10th of July but I cancel my surgery. There is somethings happen to me to do that.
At first I had weird dream 1 month before surgery that I had my surgery with another Dr. and in my dream I was happy that I went with him not with Dr. Hamilton
Second thing...I couldnt make it on the 10th of July because at 1 July I had to move from my apartment and I didnt know it will happen. So the money I saved for my surgery I had to spend on my new apt. I called the office and let them know that I want to do that another time.
And the last more important thing I saw this review https://www.realself.com/review/hamilton-los-angeles-i-paid-14-000-ruin-life
I can`t explain how sorry I`m for this guy and I could happen to me too.
Still looking for Dr. for my revision. Guys what do you think about Dr. Rod Rohrich in Dallas?

I think it's really smart to trust your gut! Nightmares and a sense of impending doom however illogical they may seem are warnings. Many people have experienced those same nightmares and proceeded forward anyhow in fear and ended up miserable and full of regret. Go you!
I'm actually in the revision consultation process myself. Hamilton was in my list and yes that review certainly was concerning to me too. Ultimately, Hamilton is off my list though, because I can't stand Noelia's disorganization, lack of punctuality and somewhat abrasive way of speaking. Red flag for me. Why would you have someone behaving like a gatekeeper working for you? Doesn't inspire cozy thoughts no matter how published and publicized you are as a surgeon.
I considered Dr. Rohrich about 5 months ago, but struck him off the list. I have two reasons. One, a few other revisionists commented on his work negatively to me during consultation. Two I did a google search and saw so news articles about his personal choices with a patient that grossed me out. You might want to look into his character a bit reading his local news. My theory is if honesty and playing by the rules are being questioned in your personal life how does that translate to being different professionally.
Right now, I'm leaning towards Dr. Le, Dr. Pearlman and am considering consulting Dr. Most.

Also, what are you having revision for?

Really sorry to hear that, have you looked into Richard Reish for a revision? He has amazing reviews and I am considering him. Just remember, it can be fixed and you are beautiful!
August 12, 2020
I'm so sorry to hear that :( You had surgery with Dr. Hamilton? It's very traumatic but please be strong. I was searching for my dr. Almost 10 years. After my 1st surgery I was left with ruined ear because previous dr. Messed up something during surgery an took cartilage from my ear to fix it but the results were still bad. I couldn't risk again and took my time, I wasn't looking for photos that dr. post on their website, I was searching for every single review that I can find on internet and I always fallow my inner voice.
December 27, 2020
Hi, I'm also considering Dr. Reish. Has anyone else heard anything good/bad?
September 7, 2021
Can you please tell me if you got it corrected! I had 2 surgeries same experience-devastating
