It's been totally worth it! I'm extremely happy with the results. Wish I would've done it sooner.

I need this done but I'm afraid of the pain. My friend said it felt like a c section.

I'm extremely pleased with the entire process and outcome of the surgery. So far the incision seems to be healing up well. I have a bit of puckering on my left side but my dr informed me that it will go down with time.

I had my "Panni" on 8/13/2013. I had to stay an extra day due to low blood counts. Went home after two days. Went back one week later and wound/drains were not ready for removal of staples and drains. Today, 8/22/13 (a few hours away) I am heading back to my surgeon for possible removal of tubes and staples. My right side is still painful. This particular drain also is double in CC amounts as well. I am more nervous about the removal of the drains at the moment. I miss being out and about. But I know this will be worth it.

A week ago I had both my drains removed (thank God) because for two days prior I had been on the verge of pulling them out myself. The right drain was starting to cause more than usual pain and when the surgeon pulled it out, it was starting to form scar tissue and therefore was a little painful (burning sensation) more than anything. The left came out without a problem/pain.

This past weekend I was running a fever and my surgeon suggested I go to the ER. The ER dr mentioned that the fever was most likely a viral infection and nothing related to the incision/surgery.

I’m still wearing my binder at all times, unless it’s being washed and then I still have something else on. I’m not comfortable going without some sort of compression garment.

I continue to have some numbness on the lower/front part of my stomach. My sides don’t look the best in my opinion but my dr said to give it time. The rest of my incision seems to look ok. At this point I’m only replacing steri-stips when they come off due to showering. I wish I could start using something for the scar. My next appointment to see my dr is in two weeks.
