This RN Finally Decide to Make the Cut. Los Angeles, CA

I had a nagging discomfort with the size and contour of my chest for as long as I could remember. Finally at 56 years of age, after seeing a cable tv commercial by a local surgeon, I decided to investigate. I am an RN myself so I was determined to find the right surgeon for me. I started by visiting the website of the doctor who had advertised, but that set me off on a much deeper search. I have a nephew who had a botched chest surgery years ago and I wasn't going to take any chances. After much research, I decided to meet with Dr. Dadvand. The testimonials on his website impressed me and I like that he had performed so many of these surgeries. Dr. Dadvand immediately made me feel comfortable at the consultation. He examined me and offered his best opinion on the course of treatment that would give me my desired results. There was absolutely no pressure or hard sell. I made my decision to go forward at that very first meeting and now, 4 months later I could not be happier with my decision. Dr. Dadvand performed my surgery on October 1st. I was well informed about all the potential risks but fortunately everything went as smoothly as could be. Dr. Dadvand had told me that my procedure would include removal of breast tissue and possible liposuction but when I awoke, he informed me that the liposuction had not been necessary. That's probably why I really had no pain to speak of. In fact, I never once took any of the pain medication he had prescribed in advance of the surgery. The hardest part of the post-surgical recovery was not being able to shower for the first two days - and then wearing the compression vest for thirty days afterwards. I was religious about wearing the vest and although Dr. Dadvand provided me with a vest, I purchased a second vest for convenience and I'm glad I did. I have been back for two scheduled follow-up appointments and my results have been terrific. I only wish I had thought to do this years ago. Still, better late than never. One choice I will never regret is choosing Dr. Dadvand. I trusted him from the start and he delivered all they way.
