The day I turned 40 I looked in the mirror and...

The day I turned 40 I looked in the mirror and though I looked so much older. I am not a vain person. I spend less than 3 minutes after showering every morning “primping” for work. My wardrobe is homeless casual. But my hair loss really bothered me. To the surprise of my entire family I let them know I wanted my hair line back. I didn’t want to enter middle age with a horseshoe hair line. So off I went on a quest that would end up with me researching no less than 6 doctors, hair piece systems and various medications.
At the time there was ZERO hair loss information on the internet. That resulted in me starting my own (now defunct) web site called The Bald Man’s Home Page. It set the standard at the time for impartial information about all kinds of hair loss treatments. But I digress.
The entire experience from beginning to end was one of the best experiences I ever had. The result could not have been better, even 18 years later. I am now 58 and there isn’t a person who meets me that believes I am 58 years old. My hairline has held up and actually looked better as the years passed. I would recommend Dr. Rassman without hesitation to anyone considering this procedure.
So how did this save life? Well that had nothing to do with the hair transplant. Dr. Rassman and I entered into a casual (platonic) friendship that has lasted over all these years. At one point he started a new business that tested for plaque in the arteries of the heart. It seemed like a great idea, especially since my brother-in-law just passed away from a massive heart attack at 42 years old. I did the test and while I am happy to say I had no plaque, they found a major deadly defect in my aorta that required immediate open heart surgery. Had I not done that test, I probably would not have survived another year and all of that beautiful new hair would have been wasted.
I remember worrying about a scar on my head after the transplant. That turned out to be an unfounded fear as I have no scar. But every time I look at the huge scar on my chest, I thank the doctor who made it happen. Thanks again Dr. Rassman!

I went to a competing hair transplant center first. Their entire setup was like walking into a car dealership. There was the greeter the sales guy and the sales pitch. I never met with a doctor at all. I walked out with a brochure, price schedule and some finance options. It was a complete turn off. When I went to see Dr. Rassman the owner at New hair Institute I actually met him. he explained the process in detail and answered all of my many questions to my full satisfaction. Most importantly Dr. Rassman is very approachable and likable. He doesn't have the god complex so many doctors have. I didn't have to think for another minute where I was having my transplant done and I could not have been happier with the treatment or result.
