More Good Than Bad, but Some Bad. - Los Angeles, CA

Doctor Umar used my body/head hair to add density to my thinning head of hair and donor scar area.
Dr. Umar improved my round, unnatural hairline and added density to crown and donor scar areas. Unfortunately I do have hypopigmentation, looks like blotching, on my neck which hasn't improved much after almost two years.
Procedure was extremely painful and expensive. I still feel that I made the correct decision--more good than bad--however my chest, face and neck took over 6 months to heal. I still, as mentioned, have the hypopigmentation on my neck from follicle extraction to fill in my donor scar area.
For those that have no choice but to use body hair to camouflage donor scars and add density to a poorly done transplanted head, I'd recommend doing an extremely small amount of body hair to see how your body reacts first.
Also I'd look into pigmentation to fill in density, but only after doing tons of research as there are some real hacks out there. The pigmentation seems to work best only as a filler and adjunct to real hair, and not as a one-stop solution to make yourself feel better about hair loss/repair cases.
In my case, I feel that the body hair have me a very thin hairline; it is almost too soft as compared to a more defined hairline with head hair. However, it is far better than it was before.
The added body hair to my donor scar areas flattened the raised areas and it does look better. However, without another procedure--which is too expensive and painful-- I needed some pigmentation to improve the camouflage.
