As i aged i noticed my double chin was more noticeable and had begun to sag. I reviewed, read, researched and watched videos of chin lipo and after seeing great results decided to take the plunge.
Had some consultations and decided on a local doctor as opposed to paying more for location. The doctor had great reviews and was generally a kind man.
At day of surgery i was surprised at what was used to numb area. Nobody mentions it or the videos don't show it. Its a liquid that completely swells the area and has to sit for about 10 minutes before they can began procedure. First of all, its odd to me because how can a doctor truly tell how much fat
is removed and symmetry is vital. I am aware they use their touch, feel and experience to determine if enough fat is removed, however that didn't work!
The numbing fluid worked, as the lipo was not painful but my results are asymmetrical.
Right after the procedure i noticed both sides of my face had deep indentations as if too much was removed at certain areas and it looks horrid! Also, there are areas where enough fat was not removed.
i have what looks like a line of fat running on the side of my face! And those indentations did not go away and I'm very self conscious and cannot wear my hair up.
Also, the doctor did not perform any lipo on my neck! Which i now realize is very important as now i feel my neck fat whereas that never happened before. If you look at my pictures you can see when i lay down or tilt my head, there is a clear fold (never there before) and my neck fat just bulges while my
face looks deformed.
What can be done?
How can i fix this?
Can it even be fixed?
Hope someone responds.

I did express my frustration and the doctor did offer to fix it. Made an appointment in August to do so, however that make me nervous as well. He offered to add some fat back and remove a little bit by the side of my chin as it has excess fat there. I am scared of the outcome, but I'm guessing i have to try it since it will be no additional cost.
I also have a consultation (with a new doc) set up regarding my neck. Eager to see what other surgeon says about it.
It took several months before it started looking much better. My surgeon was kind and did a fat transfer to fill the indentations. Of course this was free of charge as he wanted me to be happy with the outcome.
Have you asked your surgeon if he would add some fat back if it doesn't resolve itself?
I also suggest getting a lymphatic drainage massage. It helps a lot. Some places may still more swollen then other places.
