I've had my first consultation with Dr. Hughes...
WORTH IT
I've had my first consultation with Dr. Hughes about 3 weeks ago. During my first consultation he was very honest with me and said that a BBL was not option because I didn't have enough fat. I was disappointed because I never even thought about butt implants. Thankfully RealSelf has been amazing with so much feedback. I began researching all the stories on here and of course there's positive and negative ones. That's why I decided to document my journey. I really liked all the reviews on dr. Hughes and he was so honest with me that I decided to go with him. I'm having my 2nd consultation with him on Saturday to discuss all the details about my surgery....size/oval or round and so forth. I was so sure about him since day 1 that I set a date 6/1/15 and left a deposit.

I'm preparing myself for my 2nd consultation and I'm realistic on what would look good on my petite frame. I just want a perky booty...to have some projection and some hips. Btw I've worked out for almost 2 years and have seen no change in my butt. I really wanted to do it on my own but its genetics.

Good luck!! I had implants and I'm now 10 months post op. It's a rough recovery, but when you look better in clothing and bathing suits ...it's all worth it! Take off 3 weeks from normal activity- no one told me that :(. Best wishes!!

Wish you luck. I had my surgery January 23 and have just now gotten back in the gym. I am small
frame too but older than you are. I
wanted the look of a worked out .... bubble butt. I got it...I didn't
want to go to big. My ps used what
my muscle handle. He said the
size of your muscle determines
what size implant he can use... if
you go bigger the more problems you could have. Happy bum dreams until your big daym

Thank you! You're absolutely right....you run more problems when you go bigger than you're suppose to. My doctor said no more than 275cc so I gotta trust him.

haha, you are pretty tiny! He told me that 330 cc is as big as the implants can get intramuscularly.

I checked out your profile. I see you got a BBL with Dr. Hughes....were you not happy with the results? My initial consultation was for a BBL but as soon as I undressed he's like you need implants. I never even considered implants but based on the reviews you get better results. He's going to lipo my back and transfer it to my hips and lower buttocks. He says I don't have much fat but will use whatever I have to give give a curvier shape.

Like you I work out and no matter how many squats....I haven't seen much change. It's frustrating...I'm really happy with the rest of my body though.

The results weren't as dramatic as I wanted and I gained 20 pounds TL I get go a BBL. I'm looking forward to implants and anothe round of lipo

Beautynbooty Congratulations of getting through your recovery . I have to agree wirh you. Recovery is not easy. Im only 3,months post op. How long was it before you stopped feeling your implants ? Question 2 . Did the swelling and size decrease the same ? my right cheek hurts a bit more and is bigger all over than my left cheek.
