WORTH IT
I'm so very happy with the results .....my doctor was nothing but amazing. I'm really tiny so any kind of projection I would've been happy but I have a nice projection where it's not too big not too small and now I have hips too and my waist is a lot smaller so I'm very happy.

Honestly it's been hell lol! I can take pain but this was excruciating. I'm feeling much better. It's just such a darn slow process. I think mentally I thought I was ready for it as much research as I did and I knew it was going to be different for everyone I thought I was going to be a lot easier. As far as my butt it's amazing what he was able to do I thought I was going to get a way smaller one. I'm just in awe of it as soon as I'm able to take pictures and feel better I will take pictures because he really did an amazing job.

Everybody is different. You got to take into account I also had liposuction. As far as the meds .....I took them every 3 hrs instead of 4. That helped. I'm beginning to see how all the pain and slow recovery is well worth the results! It's truly incredible! I Recommend that you have lots of water applesauce protein shakes and have them all in your room set up nicely easy access. Make sure to take all your vitamins and prescription meds. You'll be fine I just want you to know and like being honest, I was in for a surprise but I also was in for a surprise what a well job the doctor did and what a transformation my body has gone through.

Oh I agree, it's best to share the cold hard truth so that others know what to expect and prepare mentally. I'm also have a bit of lipo around love handle area. I know it's going to be a long recovery, I can only hope and wish I am happy with the results as u are. Then it will all be worth it. The pain is only temporary. Good idea about the meds and having things set up and ready to eat. I am going to try to think ahead as much as possible.

I'm sure you love the results ! Yes I find having everything handy makes my life easier because I'm constantly and on my stomach. Sure is a slow process I'm not where I'm trying on stuff and seeing how things look on me yet like I said very slow process. As far as the LIPo what a tremendous difference that made too....you'll see. Specially when I didn't really have a waist. Just prepare yourself and everything will be just fine, I found it easier wearing muscle shirts instead of maxi dresses just because I'm always in bed it's easier to slide off. Since day one I made an effort of walking a little bit just for circulation that really helped a little painful but I think it really helped, i'm trying to think what else to share with you if you have any questions just ask me okay.

So my surgery is coming up on June 1st. I'm extremely excited but at the same time a little nervous. This site has been such a blessing in guiding me and to those brave women who post their journeys. It takes a lot to share so much.
I had my final follow up with my doctor. I decided to stop working out like 2 months ago so I would have more fat lol! And guess what he said I have like 800 cc's of fat so it paid off. He's transferring it to my hips and if there's any left over he'll use to sculp my butt. Here's my last before pics...

Good luck! I'm so keen to see your results. Dr Hughs replied to me on the 'ask a doctor' section when I first joined this site over a year ago so I'm looking forward to seeing your results. You have the same problem areas as me. Little waist or hips. I ended up opting for a surgeon closer to home in Europe, Dr Aslani. I'm now 10 days post op from intramuscular implants and fat transfer and feeling good! Feel free to check out my review. It's in the BBL section as that is what my initial plan was. Good luck! Implant Types....ask questions

I wanted to share an excellent video on butt implants:
http://youtu.be/dbaxcPYIpVE

Dr. Hughes explained in details the types of implants available through Implantech...that's the butt implants he uses. I mentioned AART and Spectrum because those are the two other brands I've heard through RealSelf. He was very detailed why he prefers implantech. There's 3 types regular round, oval and round (natural countour). Please visit the website implantech.com and do your research. I took a look at AART and Spectrum and did a lot of research. Dr. Hughes is using the round natural contour ones....they only come in three sizes but they're more natural looking and softer. Since I'm petite they work on my body frame. Trust me I wanted to know what brand they're using and the sizes and types that are available. I went a step further and did a research on the doctor that created them...Dr. Mofid. I found out they're the newest butt implants in the market. This is when I came across a YouTube video on Dr. Mofid and implantech butt implants. Please watch it even if you don't go with this brand. Extremely insightful and full of valuable information from the your initial consultation to the actual surgery....it's an hour long but it'll answer all the questions you have on butt implants!

So there you go....I did an extensive research on choosing Dr. Hughes and went a step further and also researched the brand and doctor who created the implants being used.

Hope this helps. Let me know : - )

Hi there! I did post before pics (post above) and I'm planning and sharing more right before I have my surgery on 6/1/15. I find this to be extremely crucial in helping others in their journey. I'm having fat grafting transferred to my hips and buttocks. I hope this helps! Thanks

Did you decide on which doctor you're going with?
User Avatar

April 18, 2015
I haven't :( I'm feeling hopeless. A lot of girls can just get away with butt implants alone but I know that I need some fat on the sides of my butt since I have dents in there. Lol it's so hard to find a surgeon who is well experienced in combining both implants and fat. How much did he quote you for bbl and implants all together? I haven't seen any before and after pics of implants from him. Especially of petite women. Do you mind giving me his info? Email? Phone?

I decide on him instead of Dr. Stanton because I have that problem too. I have no hips. As soon as he saw me, he was the one that suggested I needed fat transferred to my hips and the rest to sculpt my butt. Here's a direct link to his website...before and after pics of his butt implants patients: http://www.hughesplasticsurgery.com/los-angeles-before-after-photos/butt-implants/

Be firm and aggressive...they give you a number...say you only have etc....drop it a couple down and then meet halfway. If not take someone to help you out.
