2 week update

A lot of the swelling has gone down, I managed to take some new pictures and it looks like the gap between my breasts May have widened. Which is a good thing, since the surgeon said I am more prone to symmastia than most gals out there. I've started massaging daily to help the pocket drop and capsular contracture. The Pain is almost at a zero, the only time I really experience pain now is when I sneeze/cough o bad my body a certain way.

One week out

I was contacted today by dr. Pousti's lovely staff, I was told I am now allowed to remove my surgical bra for washing and changing of gauze. So that means I finally got to see my post op boobs in the flesh. I was not disappointed at all! Before swapping out the gauze I also tried to wash off some of the surgical markings with rubbing alcohol and a cotton pad. Wasn't able to fully remove, but here are some pictures I took before I put the bra back on.

5 day post op update

Alright, so Pain today has lowered significantly from day 1. Gotta admit, the first 3 days were the roughest. I went into the office for a post op checkup and not much was really done. Maybe saw the doctor for one second, which was kind of of frustrating since I expected him to be more thorough with me. The only takeaway I got from yesterday's visit were pictures from the actual operation which I'm sharing with you guys. As always, office staff was amazing and I don't regret getting the procedure. Will update you once I am able to remove my surgical bra, gauze, and begin massage. The next appointment I have with them will be in June, when I fly back in to have them remove my steristrips.
