I just discovered Realself a couple months ago and...
I just discovered Realself a couple months ago and I have seriously become addicted. A couple girls from my office had BBL's done and I can totally see the difference. They got their curves back, and now it's my turn. Soooo... finding the right doctor hasn't been easy. I'm the type of girl that reads a hundred reviews before I buy a new coffee maker, so imagine what I have been going through finding a good butt surgeon. So many things to consider. Experience, skill , price, location... and on and on. I have heard about and seen results that weren't that great, and if i'm going to do this, I'm getting it right the first time.
I had seen a few surgeons locally where I live, and even though they were experienced surgeons, they just don't have the volume of BBL's that cities like LA and Miami get. So I kept looking at the best rated and more well knows docs in those cities, and that's how I found realself. I have looked at hundreds of reviews and personal journeys, and I put together a list of the doctors that seemed the top for the BBL. A couple I easily crossed off bcause the prices were just ridiculous. after coming across Soli25 story/profile, I was instantly intrigued. She was amazingly pretty to begin with, but her results and proportions were the best I had seen- without looking too fake. so i started doing more and more research about her doc... now my doc :) Dr. Ron Hazani in beverly hills which I am not close enough to easliy come in for a consulttion. So I emailed photos in, and had an evening/after hours consultation by skype. i wish i had met the doc in person, but he was patient with me and let me ask all my questions, even the dumb ones, like where can i stay when i am in LA, (like there are a lack of hotels). They recommended a friend or a nurse for the fist day or so after surgery. and nothing to strenuous. (no working out for 2 weeks or lifting heavy)
Anyways, I felt like I found the right doc, but it's surgery, so I spoke to a couple other doctors on my list, but the vibe wasnt there, or the photos were not as consistent in terms of the after results. I called Dr. Rons office and they said they were pretty busy for the summer months, and since i have off mid september, I OFFICIALLY BOOKED MY DATE. I am putting my deposit in today so I can get the special rate, and they said if for any reason there is a better special coming up, they would honor that as well. so i guess i cant go wrong.
All this being said... I am really really very nervous. I cant' sit on my bum for how long after surgery? well i guess i shouldnt think about too much. No pain no gain :( and looking good aint easy. I'm putting up some wish pics and now i have to figure out where I'm staying. My sister said she might be able to join me for a couple days, so that takes care of a nurse.
