I communicated with Dr. Ho through an online consultation where she was able to review my photos, answer my questions and recommend what width of incision I should get. The staff were very helpful, responded quick and went out of their way to arrange so that I could do any pre-operative testing such as blood-tests in Canada. I was also able to get my prescription filled in Canada - which I appreciated.

It wasn't until I arrived to WAVE Surgery where Dr. Ho and I met face to face. As an over-seas client, I was impressed with her responsiveness, professionalism and honesty. Dr. Ho thoroughly explained the procedure, before and after care and all other questions I had.

The day of the surgery, we both came to a decision of doing a 8mm width, full incision technique. It was important to me that it would yield natural results and she reassured me of any concerns I had. She was thorough and she made sure that I was comfortable- that my nerves were put at ease. The staff and Dr. Ho were efficient and didn't waste any time with sedation and marking me up. Although I was awake, the surgery itself was quick (about an hour) and was painless. I didn't feel a thing which I was very impressed about. I was drowsy afterwards, but the recovery room was nice (the overall facility is pretty nice and clean) . They quickly put an ice pack on my eyes and allowed me to rest for about half an hour. Aftercare was great, as I followed her directions. It was imperative to ice ice ice! Of course, I was swollen the following days after surgery. It's only been about 2 weeks since surgery and I'm still healing, but with dr. ho's directions of aftercare, i'm happy with the results thus far!!
