Ass FAT after surgery on 11/19

WORTH IT$11,500
Here are brief steps leading up to surgery:
1. Got my blood drawn to make sure I was healthy for surgery (1 week before surgery, $15 co pay with insurance)
2. Picked up my prescriptions (5 days before surgery, received prescription via mail, $50-60 based on insurance)
3. Went into surgery center
4. Signed forms and health clearance
5. Spoke with anesthesiologist about allergies/surgery
6. Got stripped down and wiped with antiseptic
7. Laid down on operating table naked
8. Got IV inserted in hand
9. KTFO for a two hour procedure
10. Woke up two hours later sore like I did 400 squats and sucked 400 dicks... hands down the WORST pain was in my throat because of the oxygen tube shoved down
Dr. Hughes was SO friendly and welcoming. Super direct and didn’t beat around the bush about what to expect. I asked him to lipo as much fat as possible and inject the maximum amount possible! He told me that’s all dependent on how much the skin stretches and how the butt handles it. He managed to insert 1500 cc’s on BOTH cheeks. I’m not too sure how much fat he inserted in my hips but it looks great!
The real MVP throughout the entire process though was Nurse Robson who cracked jokes and calmed me down throughout the entire pre-op and post-op. Very cute nurse who’s chill, considerate, and detail-oriented. HUGE shoutout to him for facilitating the process and making me feel so comfortable. He kept making fun of me mentioned that I had a #highpaintolerance!!
Also the anesthesiologist, forgot his name ????, was so funny too. I’m terrified of needles but he managed to calm me down and made me feel safe and collected!
Overall an amazing experience and wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else! I am very very VERY swollen and bled the day after surgery but am standing for hours two days post op. I feel amazing considering I had an intense invasive surgery haha. The most pain I’m feeling now is in my stomach and sides. The skin feels tight and I can’t move from side to side so I’ve been waddling everywhere. Plus there’s NO WAY to bend down right now so I’m waiting till I’m fully healed.
Hopefully I don’t lose too much fat but we’ll see. I can’t wait to heal! Everything is going smoothly and SHOUTOUT TO MYSELF for being on my period while going through this surgery!!!!

THIS ISN'T SPONSORED— just a REALLY amazing experience with Dr. Hughes and his team. I finally booked my surgery date with the iconic Dr. Hughes in Los Angeles! After months of research through Yelp reviews, YouTube and Instagram videos, word of mouth, and first-hand experience visiting different plastic surgery establishments, I decided upon Dr. Hughes as he was the most direct, honest, and efficient. During my consultation, he answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly and never hesitated to let me know the TRUTH. When I asked if I should lose weight, he simply responded that for the best result I should aim for my ideal weight and stay at the size. Plus in regards to my stretch marks and loose skin, he suggested I get a mini tummy tuck but didn't force the idea on me, even saying that it wouldn't be a big deal since it was such a small amount of loose skin. I appreciated his candor more than I can articulate as MANY plastic surgery establishments promote sales and disparage other surgeons to gain patients. Jolie Plastic Surgery in Miami contacted me several times that a Los Angeles surgeon is incapable of giving dramatic results and that I should take advantage of their sales. When in reality, the place is so desperate for patients that they borderline bombard potential patients with "special" promotions on a weekly basis. Hughes Plastic Surgery was NOTHING like that. Lorena, the head surgery coordinator, is super sweet and direct and NEVER harasses you over a sale which shows that Dr. Hughes doesn't have to pry for patients. He's very well known in the area and doesn't need a famous Instagram page to gain attention, but he should work on that if he wants to expand his reach.
