Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Will find another Dr for a touch up
If anyone’s reading this now, my plan is to get a revision. Hopefully this year and it will be with a different doctor.
I would like an etching expert to give definition (those feminine lines) back to my stomach and fix the lipo irregularities above my belly button which is particularly noticeable under overhead light. It’s minor, but I still don’t feel comfortable wearing tops that nights expose my stomach even a little which sucks when it comes to
clothes shopping.
I also want a slight reduction/shaping at certain points around my butt for a more natural shape and to fix the area where the butt turns into the hips.
It looks like there are a lot of doctors in South American countries like Colombia that do a ton of really amazing abdominal liposculpture etching work that US doctors just don’t specialize in as much. So I’m leaning towards going there. (See pics)
While my body shape is better than it was before, I’m just still not fully happy and I want another round to fix what I don’t like. Hopefully recovery will be easier the 2nd time around because it’ll just be the abdomen and not the full butt.
The reality of BBLs is you may not get the body you were hoping for in one go. My advice is to go in expecting improvement (because that is what will likely happen unless you get totally botched), but know you may be someone who will wind up needing a second or third go to get where you want to be.
Surgery may be a ‘quick fix’ but it still requires patience.

Stomach needs help
Will probably get umbilicoplasty at some point for my new, worse belly button.
Ladies who are already thin I really recommend skipping stomach lipo. Or if you do you just stick to the lower portion. The risk for contour irregularities is just not worth it in my opinion

Dr. Response to Fat Transition Concerns
So pretty much based on pictures they’ll book you for a procedure without ever seeing you in person, but when it comes to something they did wrong, they want you to fly back for an in-person evaluation because pictures don’t suffice. Okay
I think I’m just going to look into sculptra to fill in the transition zone. Then down the line find someone who does umbilicoplasty to get my old oval belly button shape back.
