Hello! I have been following your progress - the thigh lift is the one surgery I am afraid of! I had a abdominoplasty in November, and brachioplasty and lower face lift in October...but the thighs...have considered having them done but can't seem to talk myself into it. I did ask my PS if he thought I would have good results, and he said that in his experience people who had there thighs done were not 100% happy with their results and there was not a huge change from pre to post. I can't really see your pre thighs, but your post thighs and butt look great! But you had a nice bottom to begin with, mine is pretty flat. I like where your incisions are - I don't think I would want the ones that go down the inside of the thighs to the knee - your ps hide yours so well! Would you say the recovery went pretty well for you for your legs?

My pre- thighs are the same size as post thighs except some wrinkles in the inner thighs. Pre-Back, buttock are sagging, see the very first pics posted.
The Recovery is progressing, it becomes better as time went by. Im still very careful about incisions-not over stretching it. I will give another 2 weeks for fully recovery.

Do you have before pics. My husband is trying to talk me out of having my thighs done. I would like to be able to show him the difference. If you would mind me showing them to him.

Do you have any before pix of your upper arms? I have never seen an arm lift with the incision going in the direction yours is, usually they are down the arm and way more visible.

Hi Kmarth,
I have a bit loose skin on top of my upper arm. So Dr decided the incision on axilla.

Are you happy so far? I know it's early, but I wonder about skin "bunching" when you moe your arm around. Do you have really limited movement now?

Do you have a lot of swelling in the thighs?? I had my thigh lift on the 9th, and my thighs look super swollen.
December 23, 2016
No, I think I only had a little bit swollen on inner thighs on the day of surgery. Then it's gone on the second day. I had small area of bruises on right thigh, when I touch it , the bruise area feels hard, but no swollen. Maybe swelling is due to how much of skin removed?

Not sure. I also had a lower body lift as well, maybe it was that. Its been 2 weeks and theyre huge. So depressing. Plus im going to have stitches on the inner thigh incisions. I have a few small openings.

Drink pineapple juice or eat pineapples, that will help to reduce the swelling.
I drink a lot pineapple juice. I don't think I had too much skin removed.
Not sure if you Dr put drains on you. I don't have drains.
Moving around a bit may also help.

Hi there,
Any photos of your butt lift after? Your price is awesome. I was quoted a lot more for a butt lift. And I really don't need a lift. My ass is ex large just I could use some rounding and fillers to my cottage cheese lol. Did he lipo you? I had forgotten we had the same surgeon when I responded to your question the other day.
December 23, 2016
Hi MELFACEATL, you are so funny. I don't have lipo. Actually this is my 2nd surgery with Dr Hughes. I had fist surgery in Sept 16 to fix bottom of my butt. If you look at my first pics, the bottom of my butt is droopy, Dr Hughes did some lipo on my back & side, transfer the fat to bottom of my butt. but I don't see too much improvement. I paid 7 grand for it. Then I decided to go ahead to do inner thigh lift, & cut some skin on buttom of my butt to correct the sagging look. They call it inferior buttock lift.

I returned to work 2nd week, but I'm very tired, plus I worked at home, I can rest anytime. I recommended you take at least 2 weeks off.
If you only have groin incision, it will recover faster. My incision on butt creases take much longer time to recover, I can't bend too much, & I feel sore if I sit too long, because incision is right on where I sit.
However, it becomes better every week. You just have to be patient.
I'm standing to work all the time. I'm now 14 weeks post OP. The mobility became better each week. By 3 months, you will feel much better. Now I can wear my socks, walk big steps, do some workout.
I can drive in 2 weeks, but I don't really sit on my butt, I'm using leg & back to support the weight, standing up & getting break as often as i can.
I don't sit because it hurts. Sit short time if you have to & put very soft pillow under your butt. Rest a lot.
I started to use silicon tape around 2 months, since I'm waiting for all the sutures falling off by itself.
Following your body, it tells you how much & what you can & can't do.
