You look great! How are you feeling? I am going to Dr. Brooks monday 6/6. So nervous about the recovery. I am told he is great by all of the baystate staff I have talked to. Would love to hear your feedback. I am a b going to a full C with 285CC.

I was told the same thing! I'm feeling good! As long as u rest like u r suppose to u u will recover great. I do realize everyone is different with recovery, I happen to be doing great. He did a phenomenal job on me. The PA at my post op appt today said my breasts looked so pretty & I have to agree! Mine are looking very natural

YAY ok can't wait. Was it the blonde PA - she's great. I know everyone is different, just trying to gauge it as the size is similar. It can't be worse than childbirth right! right?

Hi! I met with Julia (the blonde) and Dr. Glenn Brooks for the consultation and met with Julia for the Choice of size. She was very helpful with that . Then my post op appointment was yesterday and I met with Leah... And wow I loved her toO!
She was loving my results and told me how pretty my breasts looked

.... So pretty and I was healing awesome. I've had four children and I have to tell you that this is not that big a deal .., it just feels like you wake up from a very groggy sleep

I only felt pressure and tightness in my chest and it's hard to move your arms. It was only a little bit of discomfort ... I just stayed on my meds to be comfortable and it really was not painful at all for me. Also I needed help from a lying down position for a few days by having someone push me up by my back.

They look great, I say super choice. I had mine done and the doctor gave me a full size bigger than I wanted. :(
I stated clearly/many times that I wanted a full B. He implanted 375 and I have a full C. I am about to have revision and go down to 275 (new doctor says I can't go any smaller for fear of it looking weird) so am looking around at pics of 275... so I am hoping mine look just a little bigger (even though yours would be my perfect size) and start to look like a normal girl again>

Hi! Thanks, sorry to hear your dr. Obviously not listening to you. It was important to me to have a conservative size. It's hard to try on the implant sizes to get a real idea of what they would look like. The PA helped me make my choice. I was going to go smaller but she said they would look real small and she couldn't let me do 225 . She has a lot of experience so I listened. She also said that I should not go over 285cc because of my breast width. So I chose the 255 ccs & I'm so happy I did. I love them ♥️ I wish u the best on your surgery. ♥️

Thank you! Did we discuss what profile you had? and what type of implants?

Hi. You look great! Can I ask what your stats are? I'm scheduled for surgery in two weeks and I'm trying to decide on size. I'm thinking 250 but it's hard to find women with similar stats getting such a small size.

Hi! I'm 5'7, 126lbs, pre-op 32a, post -op TBA. In addition to knowing this, a lot has to do with your breast width size as well

I wish I knew what my breast width was. My doc hasn't measured - that's another can of worms!

Hi, how did u decide on the cc? Did I try to simulate with rice bags samples like some surgeons suggest ( not sure if everyone does it)?
User Avatar
May 31, 2016
They did suggest trying rice bags. I didn't do that. I just put the implant sizes in my bra. Then I became very indecisive and couldn't make a choice. So I talked to the PA there & she helped me make my decision with the 255 cc's. (I actually was trying on smaller) so glad she said not to go that small ( she said when they're under your muscle they look smaller plus she has a lot of experience with this)She said because of my breast width that I should not go over 285cc which I totally did not want to anyways.

Did u have saline or silicone? I went for a consult and dr suggested I do silicone and periareolar scar

Hi
I have silicone, had the incision @ the crease & are healing awesome. ❤️
June 1, 2016
We have similar shape and stories. I too bc 4 kiddos. Every appt I go to they want to do 300cc, and I don't want round top boob! What is your height and weight if you don't mind? I think your results are perfect!

@tnb1778- THANKS!!!!
I am 5 '7, 126lbs. My boobs never sat high after surgery. Probably because I didn't go to a huge size. A lot will have to do with your current size, your breast tissue amount, and your breast width. And of course knowing and approximate size that you want to be. That's not a perfect science but knowing all those factors is going to give you the results that you want ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wow!! You look great!! They look amazing!! I'm getting mine done next month and am concerned about whether to go with a 250cc or a 300cc...
User Avatar

Renee- thank you!! A lot will have to do with your breast tissue and breast width. My PA was very helpful in picking a size that was going to be perfect for me because I wanted something conservative, and she also knew that because of my narrowness that 285 cc would be my max ❤️❤️

Hi Heidi, they do indeed look awesome!
My doc is suggesting 275 (I am having a revision as doctor before gave me 375, which is far too large) I am similar shape as you... he is also suggesting I stay with my medium profile (which I dont like) what is your profile?

Thank you ! ❤️
Well my implant chart says textured round moderate plus projection. But when it comes to all that stuff I'm a little confused as to what some of it means. Is that what u are asking?
June 6, 2016
Hi, Thanks. Yes, I was concerned that a moderate plus projection would be too large, but yours look so good that now I feel better knowing that. :)

Thank u so much for taking time and answering . Could I ask u ... How long did it take u to recover as far as getting out of bed and moving around/ doing things/working? Also, any chance u could post pic what they look like now? I'm so scared of pain and swelling, and slow /poor healing process

I'm gonna post a pic soon. Well I made sure I had time to rest & didn't do anything. I have a husband & 4 able bodied children that are self sufficient. I had the surgery 5/25/16 Wednesday and didn't have to go back to work till Tuesday 31st. I rested 3 whole days of doing pretty much nothing. Then Sunday went to church, came back home to relax (I didn't drive) I took meds & iced my boobs frequently. I never noticed swelling but it's good to do this. Then Monday I walked around mall but made me tired but I was ok. Tuesday Back to work was fine. Just don't be lifting etc & making jerky movements. Today was a good day too. I just need to get more sleep but I'm sleeping good (just didn't get to bed early enough. REST REST REST eat healthy Drink lots of water Just take it easy. Sleep A lot
