5 weeks post op

5 weeks post op. Photo updates are 3, 4 & 5 weeks post surgery. Healing is going well. I still have some slight bruising and some tenderness. Looking forward to putting on a new pretty bra next week.

2 week update

My healing is going Great! I did have some bruising and inflammation which is to be expected. My nipples seem to be hyper sensitive right now which I anticipate will subside. I’ve had minimal pain since the beginning. Which I’m thankful for. I don’t tolerate pain meds very well, so Tylenol it is. All said, I’m still super happy about my little B’s. Can’t wait to see my final results.

Long Overdue Breast Reduction 34G to 34B

My day finally arrived. I had my reduction surgery on 4/22/21 by Dr Kimberly Lu. The whole process was pretty uneventful. I did need to go through quite the insurance process, which was time consuming. Thanks to Dr Lu’s staff for all the hard work and persistence in keeping things on track. After insurance approval things moved very fast. I was immediately scheduled for surgery and spent the next week and a half getting all the pre-op appointments done. Surgery day went well and I’m anticipating that my final size will be exactly what I was wanting. I had suffered years with large breasts and neck and back pain, therefore I was looking forward to a much smaller breast size. I have been please with my recovery so far and I’ve had very little pain. 2 days of pain meds and now just Tylenol. Dr Lu did put in drains, which I’m thankful for. I’ve had very little swelling and my pain is limited to incision sites. And it’s been very tolerable. I have my first follow up appointment Wednesday. I should have the drains removed then. I haven’t removed my surgical bra to take a peek. I’ll be surprised on Wednesday. I have included a before photo and I’ll add the after photo Wednesday.
