So I am excited and anxious. I keep reading stories. I know it's major surgery. Are there always complications? I know it sounds selfish but will I ever be able to have popcorn at a movie, cheeseburger and beer? Go to a wine tasting? No I don't want to pig out just lose the weight keep it off and enjoy my life .....

Aspirin????

K

Has anyone been on aspirin therapy because of a stent and have had a gastric sleeve?

I don't think you need to worry. I have had a bare stent and been on low dose aspirin therapy for the past 17 years. I am now 6 weeks post op. I was able to take my aspirin the night before my sleeve surgery and then to resume it two days later. Although I am only 6 weeks post op, I have not had any problems related to the low dose aspirin.

Wow thank you so much for taking the time to tell me. I was so worried! I just had an excision surgery on my cheek for skin cancer in situ and it just won't clot properly so I was very nervous
How is your journey ?
God bless
