I have bee debating with myself if I should post, but I feel people need to know my story....
I am a 29 year old single mother of 2 kids, who made the worst mistake of my life. about 5 years ago, I got my butt injected twice with an unknown substance from a lady in queens. She called it "Celulas Expansiva". At first i was very proud of my new figure and it gave me the self-esteem I needed. after 2 years, I started noticing dark bruise size coloring around my butt cheeks and my crack. Also a huge lump in between my crack. I went to several doctors and they were not able to help me. I began to experience fatigue, pain in my lower back, and shooting pain in my left leg. And OMG the itching, the unbearable constant itching. I even had an ulcer on my cheek that would heal until 2 weeks later.
I have been looking for solutions to my problem for the past 2 years, I refuse to go out the country to take care of the problem, and all doctors that had knowledge of removal were either in florida or california and would leave ugly scars and deformity. After thinking long and hard, I decided "[RS bleep]" the scars, I want my health back. I need to be healthy for my kids.
Been on RS for a couple of years now, and was recommended a doctor in Florida but a friend that was going through the same thing, but that doctor didnt take insurance and he would do lypo on area, (btw, friend has to go back to same doctor again because product spread to her legs and got worst), and decided to go over there. But then one day, God was taking care of me, because I got a notification email from RS of user Gladys617's removal experience with Dr. Tanovic in Long Island. She is a GOD sent. I went for a consultation and felt very comfortable with her. She and her staff are all so sweet and caring. Dr. T. was very knowledgeable off the procedure and made me feel like i was in good hands. At that point I knew I found my doctor.
I had my first surgery on 3/15/2017, surgery was no joke. I had really low blood pressure coming out of anesthesia. I had to be assisted in using the bathroom because of the wound vacs, and sometimes was even unable to get up and had to use a bed pan to go potty, But I kept my positive attitude, because i knew I was making the right decision for me and my kids. Dr. T was only able to remove 50% the first round because the substance was so hard that she had to cut it out. I had my 2nd surgery on 3/17/17, I ended having 2 blood transfusion, one before and one after, and had a reaction to the transfusion. All I could thing of was imagine if I had gone out the country. I had my last removal surgery on 3/21/17 and was able to go home with drain bulbs.
At home those drain bulbs are annoying as hell and at times I still felt faint. I look extreme deformed. But I still kept my positive attitude because the worst part is OVER! Dr. T was able to remove atleast 85%-90% of the dangerous substance. My drain bulbs were removed on 4/3/2017, little less then 2 weeks after last surgery, and my scars are healing great. I am lucky.
I am deformed and most likely will have to pay for reconstruction surgery out of pocket (I do not have option to change insurance to "out of network" plan) But i am not worry about that yet, I am just concentrated on the healing process right now. In the END, this will all be worth it. I do not regret doing this surgery AT ALL.
I have a follow-up visit coming up. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you for your entry! Your after pics are fine! The scar will heal, and you can do a couple laser scar treatments and then do an amazing tattoo to cover it up.

Thanks so much, right now I'm not even worried about the scars. It's part of my experience and a reminder that I am now healthy

Thank you for sharing your story.I would really like to keep in touch with you. My experience was identical to yours. I recently had the same procedure.

You made the best decision to have them removed. You're very young and Your babies need you around for a very long time. I hope everything works out for you.
